Comedy😂

I rated it a 2 star movie for the humor in it and i don't even know if it was the bad acting or it was intentional.

Not really even an enjoyable sort of bad.

The acting - most definitely not good. Those praising this film can't be real. They just can't. Nothing about this feels at all natural. Not the plot, not the characters, not the backstories of the characters, not even their appearances. Real people just don't think, speak or behave as the script tells them to. It could have been a "same story told with a twist." It came off more as some hobby project of some bored guy and his pals. I can't think of anyone I'd recommend this to.

False rating.

No idea how this has anywhere near 7 out of 10. Dodgy ratings going on. The movie itself is terrible. I feel generous giving it 3 out of 10, lol. Its garbage, dont waste your time watching it.

A Lifetime afternoon movie

So disappointed. Cheap effects, from opening and closing kitchen cabinets you don't see the bottom parts of, to a stupid hand under a sofa, to the cheapest ghost effects taken from the 1930s. Awful film. Terrible script and situations that people would react so differently in real life. I want my time back. Worst movie I have seen. What a wasted opportunity.

Snoozefest

Boring, bland, generic demon story but without depth or original ideas. Wooden acting doesn't help, but fits the student film quality of this movie. Shot on hd camera from amazon in 2 different houses. A lot of babbling about how bad everything is.

I sat through it as I was CAD designing, so it didn't bother me. Hoped for a nice twist in the end, which could be expected when a movie is that bad, but has a high rating.

And then the twist at the end came, a cliffhanger. Yes, nothing happened, just a cliffhanger for some sh***y sequel. What a joke.

Don't even try this mess.

Really not good

The ratings on here are false. This film was so badly acted and poorly shot. Hoped it would get better but didn't. Don't be fooled.

Haters everywhere!!

You don't have to be a very intelligent man to see that there are haters against Harley and his team. But if you're actually looking through the reviews to see if this is a good film or not then take a look at the film critics, check out a few of the film festivals and ask yourself if they'd award a "crap film" or "garbage".. it's pretty sad and pathetic they don't have anything better to do but to be jealous and try and sabotage.

It's a damn good movie with interesting characters, great plot and beautiful cinematography with a stellar sound design and score. But that's just me and my humble opinion..

Not bad, weird ending though

Movie was going fine through the time line, some reactions were weird and improper, the ending isn't really so exciting

Major Pacing Problems

First of all: Lots of "10" ratings from users who only seem to have watched this one movie and could be writing about any movie.

Second of all: Not the worst movie I have ever seen; but, boy, this one is definitely low budget and used a lot of familiar plot devices and story lines. Kids hold seance, accidentally summon demon, which seems somehow connected to the main character's past family problems; use magic sword to do battle with demon, etc. It plays like an entry in an amateur film contest.

My main complaint is that, while some of the main actors did a fair enough job, this movie clocks in at almost two very long hours. The pacing of the story and delivery of the lines were so wooden at times you could build a campfire. I found it very hard to follow, because it just seemed so darned long and disjointed.

My Review Of "Agramon's Gate"

The story is a standard premises with an occult practice leading to so pretty ghosty stuff which terrorizes the cast. It isn't too mundane but it really doesn't raise any stakes, or offer anything new. The dialog is heavy and somewhat long-winded moments of mostly low-pulse drama. Still, the writing is more mature than most of the material found in such films.

The cast give good performances. Some stand out more than others, and there are times that over-stating the moment becomes a thing. That being said, their is some cool scenes as far dramatic, dialog delivery. Unfortunately though this never really leads to any real suspense or thrilling crescendo. The movie misses any opportunity to heighten the excitement level.

The special effects are your standard spook elements. Noises, things moving, and eerie music. There is never really a true since of horror, and even the jump-scare components seem too tame. Overall "Agramon's Gate" never really reaches the horror movie status that the plot suggests. Still as far as movie value, it does well as a psychological melodrama. Check it out if you want but don't go in expecting a scary movie.

Slow and disappointing.

The gypsy woman gets major props for making this watchable to the end. Otherwise, very disappointing, and waste of time.

Indie never looked so good!

Watch this!! It's an indie film but it's not hokey or a crappy story or just gallons of fake blood.. There is a great story, there is great acting, there is beautiful cinematography and intriguing score and sound. It's and independent horror film and feels like a studio film! Terrific bold choices!

Story line was better perform.

Its low budget movies. As per my thinking I like the story line. But the Movie won't scare me a lot. So I had give 6/10. Concept was clear in the movies. Even there was no hidden gaps. Movie was fantastic in low budget. Love form Bharat Thank You.

Daytime tv show tries to do creepy stuff

How do films like this get made, how much money is there to be made and how do I get in on the action? I ask because after watching this it's apparently not difficult to write a screenplay.

The plot is in many ways similar to Host, when a medium is invited to a party and they unintentionally invite a demonic presence into the group.

The comparisons to Host end there. The acting, direction, lighting and even photography is dreadful. The script is just dreadful.

Over 40 minutes of unbearably bad dialogue moves in a predictable and obvious direction. It's literally like watching a daytime TV show trying to do something scary. It's a dreary and incompetent mess.

Rather bland and dull attempt at a horror movie...

Well, I was drawn to the 2019 movie "Agramon's Gate" because it was a horror movie that I hadn't already seen. And I must say that the movie's cover, the one with the Asian demonic woman on it, definitely looked interesting.

Sure, as I sat down to watch this movie from writer and director Harley Wallen I didn't really know what I was in for, much less did I have any idea of what to expect from the movie. So writer and director Harley Wallen definitely had every chance to impress me and win me over.

Needless to say that neither of those two things happened.

While "Agramon's Gate" was initially off to a fairly adequate start, the movie quickly buckled under itself and fell into a slump, where it just trotted on at a rather monotonous pace. The storyline told in "Agramon's Gate" just didn't really have much of any appeal really, as most things seemed random or pointless even. And it wasn't much of a win-over that the characters were bland and were as memorable as wet cardboard.

For a horror movie then the 2019 movie from writer and director Harley Wallen just didn't manage to set itself aside from many other movies in the genre, most of which that has fared a lot better than this one did.

Sure, "Agramon's Gate" wasn't among the top ten of worst horror movies that I have stumbled upon, but this was by no account a great or outstanding horror movie in any way. Yeah, the movie was watchable, I will give it that much. But when I say watchable, I don't mean enjoyable.

Visually then "Agramon's Gate" was adequate. But truth be told, then the movie felt like it was coming short on special effects, because had they invested more money into special effects, the movie might have fared somewhat better.

All in all, "Agramon's Gate" is not a movie that I would recommend you rush out to get your hands on, much less actually spend your time, money or effort on if you can avoid it. My rating of "Agramon's Gate" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

Trash

Every time the eye effects get used in this movie I can't help but squirm a little inside. It's embarrassing to see in a movie released in 2019. There aren't even that many scenes that need effects. The crew didn't care enough to make it not look ridiculous. Speaking of ridiculous things.

The actors don't even run in a natural way! They waddle and scurry so awkwardly! There's a scene where two of the characters are yelling at each other and they speak in this unnatural tone. Like a bunch of aliens got stuck on earth and are hiding by pretending to be terrible actors. Soundtrack is the most generic thing you could ever imagine.

In summary, don't waste your time. One star for no effort at all.
