Love the story, LOVE the book but the main actress was almost unbearable to watch.... she was too much and not good. Loved the guy who played Owen. Too bad they couldn't have given the book a better execution, it deserves it. Hope they try Maybe Someday, November 9, or Ugly love.

A mini serie with some romance and family drama. The acting of Katie Leclerc was bearable. Ryan Cooper was way better than her. However, they make a cute couple and I get it why they choose her for the lead.
I read confess, it was my first book from this author. I was so excited to see it made into a TV series! I was so impressed! I am sad I watched them all in one sitting!! CONGRATS COLLEEN AND ALLLLL THE AUTHORS! <3 I am a big cry baby. I cried in the book and I cried in this TV series as well! Thank you Awestruck and Go90 for taking the chance on Confess, and I hope you turn more of her books into series. There is such a fun fan base of readers that would love to see more books, specially hers turned into series!
Predictable in some moments, but very good played, very interesting story from the beginning to the end, very unusual situations with the artist man and the working mother... I love how everybody got what they deserved.
Actors were super well chosen for their roles. Not too much drama or violence. Great film!

Of course there were changes due to budget restrictions but nothing that made or break this excellent adaptation! Not only are the actors chosen to play these characters PERFECT but Colleen Hoover also made a cameo in episode 1! I seriously wish the would turn in to a longer show. THERE Wasn't ENOUGH! Excellent job Go90 and Awestruck!
I loved the series but it is very different from the book itself. The actors were great in this. I loved the plot, really tugged at my heart. But I recommend reading it first otherwise it will confuse you! I have a some concerns on this series. One, I don't understand having this as a mini series. Episodes are too short. It would have been great if this was stretched out. Two, the camera shakes too much throughout. Three, the first episode rushes. Lastly, the series completely changed a lot of elements. Some are minor but others changed the storyline significantly. All in all a great series but the quality of the story and view lacks.

Great show. It has got it all, drama, romance, tragedy, conspiracy, family, moral values etc all in one season (7 odd episodes). It would be nicer if there were more intimate scenes between the main protagonists which could have been quite intense. Maybe thats why ppl prefer novels. But this is a good series.

Katie Leclerc is really lovely but one gets the feeling that she is trying too hard. There is this forced exuberance that isn't very convincing. I watched two episodes - hopefully it gets better...
This movie was excellent. It's obvious that a great deal of effort was put forth in choosing the perfect actor/actress for each part. They were fabulous! I loved seeing the scenes of Los Angeles because California is my home state. The movie didn't deviate from the book like some tend to do. Last night, I sat down to watch one episode and ended up watching every episode until the wee hours of the morning. It was totally worth feeling like a zombie today. To say I was impressed with this movie, is an understatement. I absolutely loved it!

Started on this as it has a rating of 8. I watched three episodes as they are only 20 minutes long, then gave up.
This is awful, like a Mills and Boon romance; nothing happens.
Poor acting, poor dialogue, vacuous characters. The cliches: the painter - young, handsome, ripped, rich but does not want to touch the money, rich dad. The female lead - vacuous, everything in her life is a problem; the friends - vacuous bimbos.

This is one of the best books by Colleen Hoover. I can't wait until Ugly Love is out. And I'm excited to see all the rest of her books come to film very soon! Thanks Colleen, you're the BEST! I credit the actors that you chose to portray your the people in the story line.
HAPPY READER/WATCHER HERE!!!

Depict the main plot from the book. Excellent work by everybody. Great entertainment. I binged watch all the seven episodes. Ryan Cooper is the perfect Owen Montgomery Gentry. Rocky Murphy is too hot to hate as Trey. Auburn is also perfectly portrayed . All the characters are greatly portrayed. I will be rereading the book again after watching all the episodes.

Excellent work by everybody. Great entertainment. I binged watch all the seven episodes. Ryan Cooper is the perfect Owen Montgomery Gentry so dreamy! Wow...That was phenomenal. I didn't want it to end! I kept looking at the time left on all the episodes say "no it can't be almost over already" thinking is just Is it just 7 episodes? I'm sad to say I haven't read Confess yet, but I'm changing that like right now! Great job Colleen!
I love this rendition of the book Confess by Colleen Hoover!! I wish more books would do this. The main characters were amazing well known actors and acted to perfection. The opening scene made me tear up it was so heart felt and it was just the first 5 seconds!! I couldn't get enough of the movie that I watched it in a few hours all at once. I loved It!!!!
This tv show is a total fail as compared to the original book. Colleen has written the novel so beautifully and you guys have just ruined it. There is so much overacting done by both the main leads. Moreover, the wonderful moments that are depicted in the novel have also been altered and most of the scenes have been converted into pure mess. If you would have copied the exact storyline and scenes, then it could have become a blockbuster webseries.
I love this tv series, just a simple stories but that's make great for this. And i can't believe just 7 episodes. Hilarious

I hate to be one of those who says "the book was better" but it truly was. They took away so many important scenes & they didn't develop the characters enough. Actress who plays Auburn was too goofy and expressive and it made everything feel cheesy. Was very hard to watch.

Okay...if you have never read Colleen Hoover you MUST! do it now! Awestruck did an amazing job on this "series". The actors were perfect for their parts. I can't say enough about it to where anyone would understand You just have to watch it. I think considering the small budget it was a BIG success! Thank YOU Awestruck Thank you Colleen Hoover and thank YOU COHORTS! #cohortsunite

A Cute loving story With messy pasts and secrets.
Ryan cooper has nailed the show. He is the heart of this show.
So, I first watched the tv show and later found out that it was based on a book. Which I quickly got from the library and read it.
The tv show really surprised me, in a good way! As I didn't know the story before hand, I went in without expectations. I loved the sweetness of the show, the drama, the original storyline, the characters. It just made me happy. And a bit sad, but mostly it just made me happy!
It really makes you think; what would I confess if there would be something like this in my neighborhood. And, even if I could; would I?
The thing that bugged me in the book, which I'm glad they changed in the show, is the age of the characters. They just felt too young to me to have such a life experience (I get the first part though, with Auburn and Adam and all, at that point their ages felt right). So having them in their mid 20's made much more sense to me.
The show is just great. Just perfect as it is!

I'm not one to write reviews but the overacting and facial expressions of the main female character are absolutely cringe. Her acting literally made me angry. She was 100% the wrong choice for the series. I was really looking forward to the show as the book is so good but this was a major disappointment. I'm forcing myself to finish watching since I just wasted $10 bucks. And whhhhhhy is the cat a stuffed animal?? I'm really surprised Colleen Hoover gave her approval on this disaster. She is one of my favorite authors and I have read most of her books but now I'm nervous for the next adaption. Hope the next one is better!

Oh my GOSH I never write reviews, but this show is so frustrating. It is nothing like the book. At all. They take pieces that happened in the book and give it to the wrong character. Owen cst is a stuffed animal (?) and AJ is like 12. The adaptation is terrible. Only good thing about this show is that actor playing Owen is hot. The acting is terrible and makes you cringe.
