Tina Knowles is opening up about her daughter Beyoncé‘s big 2025 Grammys win earlier this month.
The former hairstylist and mother of the entertainer made an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, which aired on Monday (February 24), and dished on how she wasn’t expecting Beyoncé to win Album of the Year.
After years of not winning the big award at the show, Beyoncé finally received the trophy this year, extending her record for the most overall Grammy wins of all time.

We have the first trailer for Supernova. In a typical year, something like this might instantly be finding itself in the awards season conversation. It sees a pair of celebrated actors in Stanely Tucci and Colin Firth leading the way in director Harry Macqueen's (Hinterland) sophomore feature. But this is no typical year and who knows what awards season will look like. In any event, based on what we're seeing in the first trailer, this looks to be a powerful and emotional tale of romantic love.
It opens up with Stanley Tucci and Colin Firth's characters, who are in a long-term romantic relationship with one another, taking a road trip with one another. It all seems pleasant and charming, at least at first. We come to find that one of them has a debilitating disease, which leads to emotions running hot. “Irishman” star Stephen Graham is getting into the production business.
The British actor tells Variety that he has set up a production company entitled Matriarch Productions, which he is to run with his wife, the actor Hannah Walters – a close collaborator on all of Graham’s projects.
The business, which is currently based out of Leicestershire in northern England, where the couple lives, is to give a platform to underrepresented voices and stories out of the U.K.
Graham, who grew up outside Liverpool, first found fame through star turns in gritty dramas such as Shane Meadows’ “This Is England” and Jimmy McGovern’s “Accused.”
Though he has gone on to star in studio fare such as “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and the forthcoming Marvel entry “Venom 2,” he says he is selective about the roles he pursues, and won’t turn his back on portraying working-class characters in British drama.

“Chris Tall Presents…” — the first unscripted German Amazon Original which features six episodes of the comedian performing stand-up and introducing his friends as guests — will premiere at a date still to be determined. The same is the case for “Family Man,” a new Amazon Original series which, according to the streaming giant, tells the story of a middle-class man who works for a special cell of the National Investigation Agency.
