Good

I like the show. Good writing and plot lines with well done action scenes, it also showcases good acting, and good love stories for relationships of some of the characters that are multi-dimensional that are NOT cheesy or tacky, but while still having some funny and heart warming moments included in the show that I enjoyed very much. Plus, it's wonderful to see people promote the law enforcement in a positive and productive way that encourages everyone to stand up for what is right and stop bad people from human trafficking, human slavery, and abuse. Great show and I hope that the creators of this show make another season. I liked When a Snail Falls in Love show as much as I like the Descendants of the Sun Show. Wang Kai is truly talented also. Good Job to the whole cast, crew, and production team- your work is well done:-) Make a sequel / Season 2 soon! And air it on Netflix Canada!

Great Story, Misleading English Title

The title of the show, along with the synopsis on Netflix, is highly misleading. As the other reviewers pointed out, this is primarily a crime/mystery/thriller, and it is a good one. I enjoyed the growth required by both leads. While Ji Bai is good at what he does, he's very stoic and singularly focused-Xu Xu's entrance into his world forces him to expand beyond his Black and White way of viewing the world. Xu Xu was a great character but also had to grow-that said, she probably should have spent most of these missions in an armored car watching via CCTV. Even still, I enjoyed the storyline, and how the cases eventually overlapped. There was some romance, but it didn't feel forced or cheesy. All in all it was a great series, and seemed to end with the hint of a season 2. I do hope they get one as it left some questions unanswered.
