Hulu’s latest sleeper hit, Paradise, belongs to the mystery box category of TV shows, a genre that explores the puzzling causality of events in the story, building its exclusive mythos set in a controlled environment—occasionally isolated from the rest of the world. The Killers of the Flower Moon star will lead The Memory Police, an adaptation of Yoko Ogawa's acclaimed 1994 science fiction novel. THR reports that Gladstone is attached to star in the long-gestating project, which was first announced back in 2020. Reed Morano (I Think We're Alone Now) is attached to direct the film, while cinematic mind-bender Charlie Kaufman will adapt Ogawa's novel for the screen. Tiffany Darwish, a pop star popular in the ’80s, got into an accident last week while driving her car on Interstate 65 in Nashville, Tennessee.

While driving on the interstate a truck driving near her lost its tire, and it hit her car with her inside it. The tire ended up getting caught under the side of the car she was driving.

Darwish was not injured in the accident, but her car is severally damaged, including a part of the vehicle being ripped off, multiple dents and a torn transmission. She did not comment on whether she got medical attention after the accident.

She did post an update on her Instagram feed Thursday with a picture of the sky and clouds forming a heart.

Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is ramping up the television side of his production company with a first-look deal with eOne.

Estuary Films, which Dinklage runs with David Ginsberg, has struck a multi-year deal with the Sharp Objects producer to develop TV series for broadcast, cable, and streaming.

Brad Saunders, Head of Television and a former HBO executive, will oversee the partnership for Estuary Films.

Dinklage and Ginsberg launched Estuary Films in 2016 and has produced My Dinner with Hervé, and I Think We’re Alone Now. The company is in post-production on feature film American Dreamer, starring Dinklage, Shirley MacLaine, Matt Dillon and Danny Glover and is in pre-production on their Legendary film Brothers, starring Dinklage, Josh Brolin and Glenn Close. It is also adapting Ryan Andrews’ graphic novel This Was Our Pact into an animated feature with screenwriter Will Collins.

Under the terms of the multi-year pact, the company will develop television series for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Former HBO executive Brad Saunders, head of television, will oversee the partnership for Estuary Films.

Too hot to handle, too cold to hold, Bobby Brown was the next celebrity to be eliminated on Wednesday night’s edition of “The Masked Singer,” followed immediately by “Sister, Sister” star Tamera Mowry. It was a tough night for the beach, as Brown had been disguised as the Crab, while Mowry was dressed as the Seashell.

That’s right, it was a double elimination evening, part of a two-hour extravaganza that saw the “Super 8” contestants whittled down to just six. Also, viewers got more of a glimpse of the mysterious “Cluedle Doo,” a masked star who is sharing additional clues behind the scenes for viewers — and, for the first time, the panelists on set.

For the Crab, Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg got it right with Brown.

The fifth season of “The Masked Singer” aired its special two-hour Super 8 episode Wednesday, bringing together the remaining contestants from Groups A and B for the first time and ending with two unmaskings.

The supersized episode featured performances by Russian Doll(s), Seashell, Robopine (f.k.a. Porcupine), Yeti, Chameleon, Black Swan, Piglet and Crab. Each of those eight sang their little hearts out for host Nick Cannon, panelists Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger and guest panelist Rita Wilson. Then, it was time for the judges and at-home audience to cast their votes for their favorite, and in doing so, select which two competitors would not move on to the Spicy Six round.

They ended up cutting Crab and Seashell.

Dinklage is set to voice one of the lead characters — a “mysterious and charismatic bear” — in the upcoming animated feature “This Was Our Pact,” based on the best-selling graphic novel by Ryan Andrews.

Described as “a magical family adventure,” “This Was our Pact” centers on a young boy named Ben and his classmates. It is set on the night of the annual Autumn Equinox Festival, when the town gathers to float paper lanterns down the river. The youngsters have made a pact to find out if the legend about the lanterns soaring off to the Milky Way and turning into stars is true. Following last year's news that Macon Blair (I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore) will write and direct a reboot of the cult classic Troma movie The Toxic Avenger, The Hollywood Reporter now reveals that Peter Dinklage will star in the film.

According to THR, the new Toxic Avenger is "described as a contemporary reimagining that will subvert the superhero genre à la Deadpool (2016)."

Troma Entertainment's Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, who co-directed the original Toxic Avenger, will serve as executive producers on the reboot.

Released in 1984, the original Toxic Avenger follows bullied janitor Melvin Ferd, who falls into toxic waste after being pursued by his tormentors, only to rise from certain death and transform into a disfigured defender of Tromaville. The film was followed by three sequels, a ’90s cartoon show, a stage musical, and a Marvel comic book series.

Macon Blair (I don't Feel at Home In This World Anymore) has been tapped to direct the movie, which will reimagine the 1984 Troma flick for modern audiences.

According to multiple reports, Peter Dinklage has closed a deal to star in The Toxic Avenger. No other cast members have been revealed at this time. The reboot is being positioned as a subversion of the superhero genre, with comparisons being made to Deadpool. Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, who directed the original, are on board as producers. A logline for the movie has been revealed as well, which reads as follows.
