Thrilling and thought-provoking social critic

I was casually browsing through Prime Video, hoping to find something worthwhile to watch while enjoying my dinner.

To my surprise, I came across this movie that turned out to be a captivating thriller.

The film effectively presents a thought-provoking commentary on social issues and the harsh reality of gentrification, all the while delivering the anticipated suspense of a hostage situation.

Despite the familiar storyline and potentially heavy atmosphere, this movie captivated my attention from start to finish.

The acting was good and the plot twist at the end was an interesting surprise!

German Ken Loach

A powerful drama which I could have imagined aired on ARTE channel; but maybe was it after all? It is a 2018 movie. A definitely social drama, rather a bit depressing, despite the obvious desire to show it also as a thriller. Some action scenes to improve the audiences level...But it's not a comedy. I am surprised that no one has commented it yet. Maybe the thriller element annihilates the social message.... However, it remains a good time waster, well done, and I suppose destined to TV home audiences. I suppose many other films of this kind exist and are not released on a larger scale. Not a masterpiece but good film.
