Fox’s ad-supported streamer Tubi has struck a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to stream DC movies including “The Batman,” “Suicide Squad,” “Black Adam,” “Wonder Woman” and “Aquaman,” as well as superhero series “Batwoman,” “Gotham” and “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.”

The above film titles, as well as “Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn),” “Green Lantern” and “Wonder Woman 1984,” will hit Tubi’s on-demand lineup in 2024.

Available as of Tuesday are “Batman,” “Batman Returns” and “Batman Forever,” as well as “Superman: The Movie” and “Superman II,” and TV series “Batwoman,” “Gotham” and “Krypton.”

“Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” will begin streaming Dec. 31.

Just the opposite, as according to The Hollywood Reporter Freevee is adding a total of 33 free ad-supported TV (Fast) channels.

Many of the channels come to Freevee from MGM, which Amazon acquired last spring. It was back in June of last year that we learned HBO Max had pulled the plug on the Ridley Scott-produced sci-fi series “Raised by Wolves,” cancelling the show after just two seasons. The series was subsequently pulled from HBO Max entirely, with promised plans to license the series (and others) to third-party free ad-supported streaming television (Fast) channels.

Many of the shows that have been dropped from HBO Max streaming are now on the 13 new WB-themed Roku channels, the streaming hardware and software maker announced on Tuesday. WB TV Watchlist will now be home to sci-series “Westworld” and “Raised by Wolves” as well as “La Femme Nikita.”

HBO Max revealed in December that they would be licensing shows including “Westworld” to third-party Fast services. Roku has its own Fast service, the Roku Channel, and hosts third-party channels through a channel store.

There’s enough WB content for 13 Roku channels, some of which are dedicated to family programming, true crime, pets, reality TV series, and do-it-yourself.

Warner Bros Discovery has finally nailed down plans to go the Fast route. Last year — in between an intense bout of cancellations and titles being pulled from their streaming home on HBO Max — the company announced plans to explore a free ad-supported television option (Fast). During the company's third-quarter earnings call, Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslav made a point of saying that there's "a huge amount of content that's not even on [HBO Max/Discovery+] that's sitting with us that hasn't been put to monetize in the marketplace." Travel Channel has ordered a new ghost-hunting series, “Ghost Brothers: Haunted Houseguests,” TheWrap has learned exclusively. We’ve also got the first promo, which includes the perfect teaser line for this sort of thing, “What the heck is goin’ on in y’alls house?”

Lifelong best friends and ghost hunters Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey will respond to pleas from families experiencing paranormal activity in their homes. Traveling across the country to answer the calls for help, the trio moves right in to embed themselves with eight different families for a weekend slumber party, according to Travel Channel. The goal is to investigate each family’s paranormal claims and bring peace to the home’s inhabitants, both the living and the departed.

Travel Channel has named veteran TV exec Jane Latman as General Manager, expanding her current role with Discovery. Latman now will be responsible for the creative leadership and programming strategy for the 83 million subscriber network.

Latman will remain in Silver Spring, MD and continue to serve as Evp, development and research for Investigation Discovery and American Heroes Channel and general manager of Destination America. She will continue to report to Henry Schleiff, Group President.

The move is part of the restructuring following the company’s acquisition of Scripps Networks Interactive, in which Travel Channel was added to Schleiff’s portfolio.

A 15-year veteran of programming and development at Discovery, Latman has been credited as the creative leader behind ID’srise from the #50 network a decade ago to the #1 network for W25-54, today.

Paranormal show Ghost Brothers is set to return for Season 2 on TLC on Friday March 10. The series features television’s first African-American ghost hunters — Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass, and Marcus Harvey — as they head to notoriously spooky locations to investigate whether they’re haunted or not.
