They were right, hahaha. Anyway, I had some good laugh at the artificiality of everything there. Kirsty Swansot did not surprise me, but all the other actors were wooden, like the plot.
One of, if not the worst, of these fashionable modern daytime dramas. They seem to be everywhere these days and I'm assuming they must be cheap to make, or why bother?
Usual clapped-out 'mother and daughter don't get along' relationship as the mother is too controlling and the daughter wants her 'freedom' story, which culminates in the daughter going missing.
Nobody believes the mum, least of all the police, and she realises she has to find the daughter on her own.
I'm not a fan of these newer tv dramas as they seem to be similar: generic plots, tired scripts, uninventive camerawork and stale direction. Most of these TV movies are bad but this one seems to stand out from the rest because of its sheer awfulness.
The main problem with this particular effort is the acting. I couldn't find one decent, believable performance with one actress being completely dubbed and the other English actress giving one of the most atrociously wooden performances I've ever seen. She really needs a new career.
The rest is just dross. Kirsty Swanson, never the best of actresses, in the lead isn't much better.
Steer clear of this one. Unless you like watching painfully bad acting......????

Unbelievably bad acting and the actress who played Rose should definitely think about a new career as she certainly can't act. Diabolical film.
Well this film was some bad soup mixed in with some bad breakfast. Not wanting to throw pervy issues around, but, you would have to be blind if you don't notice the amount of curvy women employed in lead roles- making the Producers a bit suspect as all of those busty entrances were simply bad acting with a capital B. Trump super-fan Kirsten Lea puts in a one-dimensional performance which is what you'd expect from a MAGA moron - but she shines out as others couldn't even manage a half-dimension. This badly-paced, badly-acted and very poorly Directed movie makes a fool of itself every 4 minutes. The comical errors, enhanced by an amateur Director, were amusing. If there were a "Police Advisor" on the crew, then he wasn't listened to. The cast & crew spent a few weeks driving around the rubbish 'burbs of LA and made a rubbish product. Waste.
Just don't waste your time. Appalling acting, script, story etc etc
