Mumbai, Feb 1 (Ians) Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is set to headline a cyber-thriller film. The yet-to-be-titled film is being directed by filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane, who is known for films like ‘Lootera’, ‘Udaan’, ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’, and ‘Ak vs. Ak’.

Talking about the film, Ananya said, “When Vikramaditya Motwane approached me with this story, I just knew I had to be part of it. As a filmmaker, he has been on my wish list for as long as I can remember and I feel really lucky to be working with him this early in my career.”

Vikramaditya Motwane, who is at the helm of affairs for the film, said, “This is a thriller with modern-day appeal and very relevant to our times. It’s going to be really interesting to see Ananya Panday in this role since it’s something she hasn’t attempted before.”

“Padmavati is set during the 12th century, and we don’t have paintings from that era from where we can take references,” she said in an interview to Scroll.in. So Preetisheel has gone ahead and photoshoped ideas before putting them into practice. She says, though it is an imaginative and time-consuming process, it’s not very difficult for her as she always tries to make the actor don a look that he or she hasn’t had before.

National Award-winning make-up and prosthetics expert Preetisheel Singh who created and worked on Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s look for the film Mom, has been receiving accolades and admiration ever since the release of the film. “I’m amazed and humbled by the stupendous appreciation I’ve got,” she says with a smile.

The Mirzya actor lashed out at the Filmfare jury over the award given to Diljit Dosanjh for the best debutante male. The newcomer while applauding sister Sonam Kapoor’s work and her Filmfare win, expressed his displeasure on losing the award for his role. In an interview, Harshvardhan said,"Although I picked up two debutante awards earlier, I was really looking forward to winning the black lady. But I guess every awards event has its own parameters.
