Samppa Batal has a cameo in the last scene. Presumably he is "Lauri" whom Jonna mentions once, but the end credits do not confirm this.

This is Samppa Batal's directorial debut and at the time of its release in Finland, he was only 25 years old. Similarly, when Nicolas Winding Refn's directorial debut Pusher (1996) was released in Denmark, Refn was 25 years old. Batal considers this to be the paragon of Äpärä (2016).
Satu Silvo, one of the most popular actresses in Finland, was so convinced of Samppa Batal's urge to make the movie that she agreed to play the role of Pirjo before she even read the script.
