Knock off Kourtney Kardashian was excellent. I also enjoyed the supporting cast. The movie time jumps, but does so in a unpurposeful way. The attempt to build suspense is undercut with poor directing and writing choices. Put a cork in it.

There's too many flashbacks in this movie and you feel you're in a time warp when you're watching it. 18 months earlier, present day, 2 hours earlier - you get it. Still, the Bermuda cinematography was breathtaking. But it couldn't save this movie and a waste of big star talent Kelly McGillis and Kate Mansi. Would not watch again!

I find it funny that you can prove in the review that you either didn't pay attention to the movie or your too stupid. You do get resolved who McGillis is if you are paying attention. The movie does jump around a lot but the only way it is confusing is if you are not really paying attention and are doing something else while watching it. When it jumps it is usually telling another characters side of the story about what was happening at the same time of the other stuff you just watched. I liked it a lot because at least it wasn't like all the other Lifetime movies where you yell at the screen about the stupid things they are doing.

Nothing good happens. Very simple setup. Bad acting. Very very very slow. Could have been 10-15 minutes while having same content.
I think it might have been made for watching while daytime drunk

Horrible in every way - plot made no sense acting terrible every about the one makes no sense - don't bother ever watching
This movie was absolutely terrible! Poor acting! They literally waste their time making this movie!!! I watch the whole movie ONLY because I wanted to see how it would turn out! The ending was even more horrific! I'm disappointed!

If LMN made films this bad as a rule, maybe the government would declare an emergency and we'd soon have a vaccine to relieve us from this crap.
"Maternal Secrets" is a pretty good Lifetime movie. It has beautiful location photography and a good cast. Kate Mansi is quite dreamy looking and does a very nice job. Kelly McGillis delivers a terrific performance. She's a lot of fun to watch. The story has a few too many flashbacks but that's not a deal breaker. Warts and all, I liked "Maternal Secrets". Honorable mention: Brooke Burfitt's costume designer.
One of the things that most viewers expect in the movie, is resolution. Although the ending of the movie provided some of that, it was never really resolved who this other "mother" (Kelly McGillis) was.
I think it's a given, that most Lifetime movies are very formulaic. It's not difficult, to figure out who's who. This was poor, even for Lifetime.

First of all, this movie is called "Mother of All Secrets" on Tubi. I can't believe I am nearly done but I figured I've suffered this far so what's the point in stopping now? Every other minute I keep checking to see how much longer of this torture.
The acting is...just wow. I like the lead she's ok, I've seen her in other things so yea. The plot was dumb, script mediocre, cinematography 3 out of 10, too many flashbacks and lastly, this movie could have been cut down 20 minutes sooner.
I appreciate the effort put into it as I love b list and below movies. I'd consider this a z list but they are my guilty pleasure. I still have to rate them accordingly however.

Total waste of time couldn't even finish it. Poor acting except for the pregnant girl, other actors terrible . Too many flash backs , confusing and poor Len movie.

As usual, I can't stand the reviews that put this and other LMN films down. If you set your expectations right you can learn to like these films as much as I do.
I was thrilled to see Kate Mansi come to LMN movies. She's not only gorgeous she's a seasoned actress and her performance in this movie demonstrated her experience.
I would agree with some others who said the plot was a little confusing. I had to rewind a couple of times to figure it all out. But I got it without too much effort. If anything, this movie is as formulaic as many LMN movies.

Absolutely crap acting by everyone even McGillis. Except for Kate Mansi. She is a very good actress. Seen several of her movies. Pity she accepted the lead role. I guess they paid her well.

I saw this movie before it came to Lifetime and was so happy to see it on the air. I really love this Sean Stolzen's look and acting and have a feeling we'll be seeing him around in more. The movie was so entertaining and is almost a guilty pleasure kind of movie of mine to watch! I'll be watching it again, that's for sure!
