An overall fun enough if a slightly flawed entry in the franchise

After a strange accident at work, the life of the worker at the facility suffers from a series of haunted encounters that are soon revealed to be started by a friend of his trying to use black magic to revive the love of his life and must find a way to stop it from spreading.

Overall, this was a decent enough sequel. One of the better elements of this one comes from the rather involved setup at play that brings several enjoyable factors together. The seemingly innocuous firing at the factory which starts everything from the frustrated worker's suicide and the vengeful wife's curse is a great setup to provide a cause and motive for what's to come as the incidents afflicting the family show this quite well. Including the tragedy involving the brother and his wife and child while the site owner is forced into dealing with his own personal issues involving jealousy and possession as a result of the curse which generates a solid and workable enough setup to go along with. As well, this one takes advantage of those features with some great haunting scenes. The flash images and hallucinations of the demons appearing to her and working through her medical condition appear to provide potential answers for everything despite the genuine supernatural incidents here are quite fun/. The final half, where the contents of the curse come to light in several fine moments where the possession is finally allowed to take place in some genuinely chilling scenes with the deformed beings and graphic actions under their influence is quite fun. A lengthy battle in the house where all the spell-casting took place causes some impressive visuals and imagery to go along with some great shocks, all giving some likable features to this one. There are some issues with the film that hold it back. The biggest issue here is a highly overwrought pace filled with unnecessary plot points that make this far longer than it needs to be. Despite going for the obvious explanation and cause from the very beginning, way too much of this one is wrapped up with useless family drama, personal grudges coming to the forefront, and not much in the way of genuine thrills. Providing more of a drama feel here with the mothers going through their personal demands and pettiness that it's rather easy to forget what's going on which is the other factor here in how confusing this is. Between flashbacks, dreams, and a lack of explanations, it's way too late into this one to know what's going on and it holds this one back from what it could be.

Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Violence and Language.

Sad and nice

"Siccin 3" continues to conjure dark and twisted tales with a 7/10 rating from me, and I must admit, I found it strangely engrossing. The acting maintains its eerie intensity, pulling us deeper into the nightmarish narrative. The film editing keeps the suspense alive, although it occasionally meanders. The film's strength lies in its relentless exploration of Turkish supernatural folklore and its ability to evoke a palpable sense of dread. The music enhances the film's eerie atmosphere, and the cinematography captures the sinister undercurrents lurking within everyday scenes. "Siccin 3" builds on the unsettling themes of its predecessors, reinforcing the message that tampering with the supernatural comes at a high price, even if it occasionally falters in execution. For those with a taste for the macabre.

Disappointing

Two hours of scary sounds and music only punctuated by some scenes of black magic.

-By the way, ruqaya (extracting magic or harm from the jinn from the patient and she Quranic recitation over patient) in Islam is not what the film depicts

Mindblowing plot twist

There were too many jump scares. Except that the film was a great horror movie. More than jump scares, a horror movie fan would like to see creepy images and would like to feel a negative vibe when seeing the film. This gives them the same. Jump scares would create a heart panic. So watch it with low sounds. Love for the film from , Tamilnadu India

Unrealistic movie filled with jump scares

If these tame movies full of cheap jump-scare effects is what Turkey has to offer in the name of horror, then I think I should stop watching them. Dabbe 4 was the only movie which interested me to some extent. None of the other Turkish horror movies really are up to the mark.

When you have a lame, non-scary plot, then you have to rely on cheap scary effects and grotesque faces to try and scare people; which is exactly what they have done here. And it is pretty much the same formula in almost all Turkish films.

So in this film, you have a guy whose wife dies in an accident and he digs out her body from the grave and resurrects her. This is a plot twist which is revealed only at the end; but it is so predictable that you can see it coming from a mile away.

But the pieces of this puzzle don't really fit very well; because of lazy script writing. If the guy resurrected his wife, how do the djinns get involved in it? Why do they want to take her back? As per the theory, Djinns are a separate species of creatures.

This part is not at all explained and it is a pretty glaring plot hole. The wife's cadaver is shown to be kept separately; so it is clear that the husband has been living with some other creature, which is taken away by the djinns in the end. But why would the husband who loves his wife so much and prays for her to be returned to him, settle for living with a djinn instead? And she doesn't even resemble his wife, as is shown in the end. She has a very grotesque face.

And why would the djinns kill his parents? What do they gain by that? None of these things are satisfactorily explained. Some very vague explanation is given, which doesn't make sense at all.

superb movies similar to evil dead franchise

The horror movies that really scared me was evil dead 1 and 2. i have seen a lot of horror movies but none were scary like evil dead 1 and 2 . i kept searching for similar movies and other horror movies but everything was really disappointing. one day my friend recommended me this series, i thought this would be like that previous horror movies i saw ,but siccin series was totally different, the sound effects were something different and the hidden suspense and background music were on a new level. this movie gave me the thrills and the scare i experienced while playing resident evil 4 and the fear while watching evil dead. superb movie don't miss this series if you are a fan of evil dead. Hollywood should watch this movie and learn how to make modern horror movies.

Great disappointment!!

The producers used the name of successful movie to make profits no matter what.. its Simply a movie made for drinking money!!

That version is very bad and can't be compared to the first version of that movie series.

When you have a lame, non-scary plot, then you have to rely on cheap scary effects and grotesque faces to try and scare people; which is exactly what they have done here. And it is pretty much the same formula in almost all Turkish films.

The music and special effects are not enough when you have a bad illogical story has nothing to do with reality.

I don't recommend that movie to any one!!

The Perfect Meeting of Love and Horror: Siccin 3

Siccin 3 has the best screenplay in the series.

Alper Mestçi raised the bar so high with this film that even he hasn't been able to reach this level again. At first, the film feels strange because you don't understand what's happening. You're left with questions like "why?" and it can even feel boring at times. Various symbols are used, and your curiosity gradually increases. Eventually, the events start to make sense, and the film ends in a way you would never expect. The story breaks away from clichés and tells a completely different tale. We can say it's a story where love is blended with horror. The film brought a fresh breath to the Turkish horror film industry, which is known for repetitive storylines. The character Orhan, known as the Hüddam Teacher, also joined the series with this film.

Overall, the film is very successful artistically. The prosthetic makeup is high quality, visual effects are solid, and the jumpscares are used effectively. I can hardly find any faults in the film.

Only the slow pacing of the story might have negatively affected some viewers. While these choices were made to give the story a mysterious atmosphere, it might have also made some think, "just let whatever happens, happen..."

Visually, I found the film truly impressive. Beautiful works were done aesthetically, and the sets were skillfully prepared. It was amazing from start to finish.

The lead actor playing Orhan delivers such a performance that it's impossible not to be impressed. His acting was outstanding, and he fully deserved to become a legend of the series.

I also want to mention the music. The soundtrack almost tells the story by itself. I find Siccin's theme music very successful. Resit Gözdamla performs it wonderfully. It gives you goosebumps...

In short, it's a nearly flawless film in the horror genre. Those who haven't watched it are missing out a lot...
