The Ogilvy Fortune

Where Is the Cast of 'Christmas Vacation' 35 Years Later?
Image
With the yuletide season in full swing, one movie that will be played repeatedly throughout many households during the holidays is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The third entry in the Vacation movie franchise turns 35 years old this December and still holds up as one of the most amusing and rewatchable Christmas comedies of all time.

Instead of traveling cross-country to Wally World, overseas to Europe, or Las Vegas to experience Sin City, what sets Christmas Vacation apart is witnessing the Griswolds at home in their Chicago element while hosting several family members for the holidays. As such, there's no better gift than catching up with the Griswolds and finding out what those still alive are up to in 2024 and beyond.

Chevy Chase Reportedly Lost 110 Pounds After Gastric Bypass Surgery — See Photos!
We're seeing less of Chevy Chase these days — not just because the National Lampoon and Community star's on-screen roles have become scarce in recent years, but because he has lost a lot of weight. In fact, one report has claimed the 74-year-old actor has shed 110 pounds after undergoing gastric bypass surgery, and new photos of Chevy seem to corroborate that assumption! According to Radar, Chevy once weighed 300 pounds but has lost more than a third of that weight through a combination of surgery and rehab. "He went to rehab for the second time to deal with his alcoholism," a source told the site. "The word is he also went in for gastric bypass to limit the food he eats." (Photo Credit: Getty Images) The insider continued, "Slowly but surely, the pounds melted away, and he lost 110 pounds. It's true he's looking slimmer than he has in decades. Getting sober was key.
