Very underrated film

I guess people just don't like Black and White films anymore. If you like great independent films like Clerks or Clerks 2, then you will love this film. They show the world of bootlegging through the eyes of three individuals who couldn't be any different. My favorite character is the police officer because he is a lovable loser.

I liked it, others may not...

... because the gags are so quickfire and chucked into the script with little thought as to whether they suit the plot (what plot?) No matter for me, because I was laughing all the way through, but I can appreciate why some people might not like that.

Like I said, don't go into this looking for a plot, because there isn't really anything other than the most basic premise to satisfy the distributors. I personally found it refreshing that the movie asked no requirement of me other than that I be able to laugh. This I did, loudly and frequently.

A final note. You will have a blast!

Really Well Done Indie

If you like independent films and comedy, then you will love this film. It has a very interesting story that is very original. It's an underdog story about the little guys trying to leave their mark on the world, even if they are going about it in the wrong way.

Fantastic Independent film

The movie is in black and white and I think that's what made it a better film because it reminded me of Clerks, which I love. These characters are all losers but they try hard to achieve their dream even though they are going about it the wrong way, by selling illegal movies. I decided to watch this film because these guys made another film called Waiting For Howard Stern and it was a documentary about promoting this film, so I figured, what the heck. I'm so glad I did because it was great ride. Can't wait to see what they come up with next.

The Three American Amigos

This was a really cool original film. It's about these 3 morons who think that if they sell enough bootleg DVDs, they will raise enough money to make a real film so that they can stop being criminals. They are lovable losers who you root for even though they are on the wrong side of the law. I really enjoyed this film. It is a real jem.

Piracy never felt so good

If you were ever interested in how the world of DVD Bootleg Piracy works, then this is the film for you. Even though I don't think hardly anybody buys bootleg movies anymore since streaming took off, this film shows what it was like to have been a Bootleg Pirate before jail broke amazon sticks were available. Very interesting, well done, and funny film. I Highly recommend it.

Very realistic but comedic approach to a serious problem

If you live in NY then you know about DVD bootleggers. They roam the street selling illegal copies of movies in theaters. This movie basically shows you these peoples lives and why they do what they do. It's never boring and funny at times. I really enjoyed it.

Piracy never felt so good

This is a weird subject for a film, but they did a good job telling the story of these 3 idiots trying to sell bootleg movies on the streets of NY. It is heartfelt and hilarious at times. A must see.

A Must Watch!!!

I loved it from beginning to end. Too bad real American Pirates are becoming extinct because of streaming services. I just had a blast with this film. I use to kwow real bootleg pirates and they were cool and funny like the film.
