woman story

It was a good movie, especially the female characters' view of the world and their problems are well explained.

Worth watching !

Beautiful and dramatic story about the fortune of a Turkish girl, who is born in a village during 1950s. Eastern customs and traditions suffocate women's dreams and rights. This movie gives the sensation of Eastern culture, its colorful amaze and traditional rituals. Can't forget about views of gorgeous mountains and fields. Something worth watching, if you like Eastern culture and are interested in its customs. Personally, I loved it. I cried a lot due to amazing cast and producers. Wonderful and talented people worked really hard on this, it's evident

One of the most impressive films

There is a belief in our country like that: Sad and Happiness are two brothers. During its plot, the film shows this reality accurately.

Three women and their impressive story. From Hakkari to Antalya.

The film was inspired true stories. It was about Yilmaz Erdogan's aunts and His grandpa. So, I guess, you should watch it

Worth watching

I started watching this movie for Sukru... However story is simple and orated very well..It shows the lives of 3 sisters and their dreams. Life of people in 1980s and love during that time.

Classy!

I've enjoyed every minute of this beautiful movie. If you want to enjoy great acting, not trivial plot, this is for you. The film is humane, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, just like life itself.

Apples are like Life

The metaphors used throughout the movie were striking and true. Some apples are sour- like life- can bring pleasure though also difficult. And some apples are sweet-but may get that way when "tamed" or grafted.

Cinematographically amazing, this showed the beauty of the country side, and the colorful clothing of a time long gone. It was just stunning to watch.

The storyline was interesting-both the historical accounts and the beautiful stories of love as well.

The acting was simple and clear. Not over acted nor silly. Sukru Ozyildiz was adorable, as usual, by the way.

I was pleasantly surprised at this lovely and moving production and would surely recommend.
