Gesichter des Todes VIII (1993)

Gesichter des Todes VIII

1 review

.....

Yet another endless assault on the senses, with more still photographs of death and decay, mixed with home video/ surveillance footage- quality of bombings, rioting, transportation accidents, etc., from, according to the title cards: Peru, Russia, Bosnia, Poland, the Congo, Iraq, Rumania, and Nigeria, before twenty-odd minutes of unrelated autopsy footage, taken from Phases Of Death, for its final third. Most of the rest of the footage was apparently taken from Death Scenes 3, and Inhumanities 2.

This video doesn't even bother with a narration, so it doesn't seem like it's even trying to be a (mock) documentary, like whoever compiled this footage wasn't even trying, they just threw together anything they could find. Which only makes me wonder why I'm even bothering to watch these any longer, let alone review them, even just for Halloween?

Apparently a limited edition, only ninety nine copies manufactured, and released officially only in Germany.
