The Faithful is a lovely continuation of last week's religious elements, this time focusing on the women of National City while letting the question of faith take centre stage.

The episode jumped through time a bit in an attempt to pull a couple of fast ones on us, although the initial 'is this a flashback?' gambit didn't work quite well enough to be worth the move. That said, hero-worship seems like a natural occupational hazard for someone with powers, and as Kara pointed out, the difficulty of fighting faith makes for an interesting departure from the usual alien of the week.

Eric Church burst into tears on Wednesday as he recalled performing at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival in Las Vegas just days before the devastating mass shooting that left 58 people dead and nearly 500 injured.

The late Soundgarden singer's family has commissioned a memorial statue in his honor to be placed in his hometown of Seattle, Washington.

Chris Cornell‘s 12-year-old daughter Toni is honoring her father through the language he understood best: music.

Toni, Cornell’s younger daughter, sported all white on Friday as she belted out Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” alongside OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder to honor her late father and his close friend Chester Bennington during a Good Morning America appearance.

Chester Bennington was found dead at the age of 41 from an apparent suicide on Thursday. The Linkin Park frontman's passing came as a surprise to many, but another death that also shocked the music world was that of rocker Chris Cornell.

Bennington and the Soundgarden frontman were very close, and following Cornell's tragic death in May, the "Numb" singer penned a heartbreaking letter to his dear friend.

On Thursday, Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington was found dead from apparent suicide at the age of 41. Bennington's untimely death comes on what would have been his friend and fellow rocker Chris Cornell's 53rd birthday.

Cornell, a groundbreaking musician beloved for his work with Audioslave and Soundgarden, died on May 18 when he committed suicide by hanging in his hotel room at the MGM Grand in Detroit, Michigan, following a performance with Soundgarden at the Fox Theater.

Bennington and Cornell were close friends during their careers, and toured together for Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution music festival tour in 2007 and 2008.

When the Soundgarden singer was laid to rest at a memorial on May 26, Bennington performed a powerfully emotional rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," and was joined by Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson.

Chicago – The future of story experience was on display at the recent 16th Tribeca Film Festival, and its popularity bodes well for the evolution of audience interaction. The “Virtual Arcade,” which was at the festival hub in the Tribeca neighborhood, featured Virtual Reality (Vr), interactive storytelling and immersive experiences, which takes the participant into the world they once only watched. Loren Hammonds is the Programmer for these experiential works.

Loren Hammonds studied at a film conservatory at Purchase College in New York, and then worked in indie film production as a grip and production assistant. After curating at a video store in the West Village neighborhood of NYC, he made contacts at the Tribeca Film Festival. He has worked for the festival for nine years, programming films and evolving into the experiential realm.

The self-professed West Wing superfan collaborated with The West Wing Weekly podcast, hosted by former series star Joshua Malina (Scandal) and Hrishikesh Hirway, to create “What’s Next?,” a tribute to the political drama and its leader, President Josiah Bartlet, that was released Monday.

A post on the podcast’s site explains that Hirway “made a beat, an extended remix of our podcast’s intro theme, for the biggest West Wing fan we know.” Miranda then wrote lyrics and recorded the vocals.

A 10-year-old girl who has Autism and Adhd sang a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ that has since been seen by millions of people from around the world.

Kaylee Rodgers sang the solo part during her school choir concert at Killard House School in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland, which left many in attendance in tears, according to the BBC.

She often sings at the local Christmas concert at First Presbyterian Church but this year she lost her voice and couldn’t attend the Sunday service. Instead, her teacher played the video above which was filmed just a few weeks before.

Spike Lee has been an avid Bernie Sanders supporter, releasing ads and videos for the Vermont senator’s campaign. While Sanders lost the Democratic nomination to Hillary Clinton, and Clinton surprisingly lost to Donald Trump, Lee is still sticking by Sanders’ side and wants direction from him on what people should do next.

In an interview with Sanders for The Guardian, the filmmaker stated that Clinton lost because she believed she won the election before it ended.

Sharon Jones, Grammy-nominated lead singer of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, died on Friday, November 18 of pancreatic cancer. She was 60. The unfortunate news was announced via the band’s social media and official website.

“We are deeply saddened to announce that Sharon Jones has passed away after a heroic battle against pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones, including the Dap-Kings. Thanks you for your prayers and thoughts during this difficult time,” read the statement.

It also stated that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lustgarten Foundation, James Brown Family Foundation or Little Kids Rock. Additional memorial details will follow soon.

Diagnosed with stage two pancreatic cancer in 2013, the singer was recently the subject of Barbara Kopple’s documentary “Miss Sharon Jones!” The film debuted at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, where she revealed that her cancer had returned.
