Only Parvathhy,s performance as Tara(not as Hima) stands good. Otherwise, acting, the storyline, dialogues, direction are not of a great class

It was around the 70th minute that I completely lost faith in My Story, a romantic drama set primarily in Lisbon and nearby Europe that had so much potential owning to its star cast and production roll but fails terribly because of its aimless direction, atrocious twists, overzealous performance by Parvathy, and an overall filmmaking that reeks of rookieness. TN.

What can be said as unique in the film is that it shows a woman falling in love with a man, instead of the other way around as in the usual case, but the freshness ends there. At times it feels like the filmmaker is bent on including every cinematic cliche known to the world - the poor little rich girl bored by her controlling and rich fiance in a suit, the orphan young man who is poor yet fun, her moneyminded father and more, all set against the backdrop of a film shoot, instead of a ship, as in the Titanic. The dramatic dialogues and situations are in stark contrast to the new wave of Malayalam cinema where everything is subtle, and as real as it can be.

#MyStory which has finally seen the daylight is unfortunately a disappointment from the 2 lead actor's who are seen as goodwill ambassadors of good scripts. Apart from getting the best visuals's out of her Cinematographer, Roshni Dinaker fails in her much anticipated debut.

Unfortunately a disappointment waste of time and money

In simple words, "My Story" doesn't have a good story..and hence a utter flop. "My Story" has good actors, good visuals, nice songs...unfortunately its fate was to end as a dull movie. The main reason for it is its lack of an engaging story and script. The dialogues were too artificial and overly dramatic, making things worse. Though Parvathy's screen presence was good, both her characters were dull and not interesting at all. I wonder how come someone waste money and effort on a lackluster story like this, when one have all the resources to make something better & engaging. Watch it when you have time to waste or get bored...

When the director has no clue as to what needs to be done and how, the end result is a movie "My Story"

Old cliche storyline planted to a foriegn country. utter flop direction and the poor script worsen the situation

I wonder how come such a good movie got such bad review, I think anger and hatred towards the Parvathi (heroine) must be reason for this ... crazy people.... ! Wonderful making awesome movie just loved it ....!

Ps: watch this movie without any prejudice mindset.

It's an romantic movie. Prithviraj Sukhumaran and Parvathi Thiruvothu are played their roles well. But Parvathi's hima is disappointed. Other Characters of this movie doesnt have a clear space. First half was nice. But the second half questioning the logic of the film. Anyway its an above average entertainer for me. I'm rating 6/10 for this movie.

With a stellar cast like Prithviraj and Parvathy, one would have expected something atleast halfway watchable with this film.

What a disappointment. My Story turned out to be no more than a typical mediocre Bollywood style masala film, shot in a scenic locale. The locations may perhaps be the best part about the film. The rest is just typical masala fare which while acceptable for Bollywood is certainly not what one expects from Malayalam cinema.

Waste of time.

Not very bad as sais during release days. Movie has a pathetic failure in box office but the movied deserved atleast a hit status. Beautiful climax & good songs.

A feel good movie with great acting by the lead roles..and also great work done by Shaan rahman for the music..

An feeling good movie, that absolutely tell the relationship between jay and tara directed by Roshny Dinaker. Role of jay done by Prithvi and tara was Parvathy. They Performed by there Established acting methode, and it's a cinema life in a cinema. Once jay go away to find his old tara. You can see remaining story on movie... watch the movie and enjoy it

I am giving 10 to this movie. Parvathy and Prithviraj acted very well although the story line is not new .

Who play the character madhura ..does anyone know. I'm a night time jay was with a girl wearing white dress her name is mathura .. at that time Parvati came in and ask him who is she 50doller like that... And madhura ask Jay that do u need. Space..that time Parvati says yes... And madhura says ok see u tomorrow at hotel.
