I liked the pace, style, acting, quirky people and the encredibly sweet story. Made me smile and cry at the same time. Some might find it a bit cheasy which might be the reason why it got a low score, but I thought the acting was solid and the storyline compelling. Uncomplicated.
I saw a review on this movie that said the words didn't match up with lip movement, but if you're watching it on Netflix, it's in a language other than English, which is why the words don't work right.
Jana, 17, has a congenital heart defect. To defy fate, Jana seeks out all challenges, immersing herself in all wild and dangerous adventures. She has a heart condition, but her spirit is free. After bonding with an untamable horse, Jana trains to compete in a race, risking her own life. ...
I am a young "Lady" who loves sugary and dramatic teen movies. I recently watched a very similar movie, with a horse + a rebellious girl, but it wasn't heart-related, just as cute. This German movie is simple, delicate, predictable (that very basic cake recipe) aiming to captivate with emotion... Cute, pure juice of tear-jerking entertainment (it didn't even make me that emotional, but the soundtrack tried hard)...

The only thing I didn't understand is why that character had to exit. Why? WHY? I mean, the story is veering towards the ideal direction, WHY NOT JUST INCLUDE THE WHOLE PACKAGE? 😭 Okay fine. I do understand. It shows THAT side of the situation. But it's just not cool man, not cool. To say that it's heartbreaking is an understatement.
I do think that they didn't intend for the movie to be that deep; just enough for people to see and gain perspective. I'm saying this because the movie is FILLED with out of this world nonsense that's just there to further sensationalize your viewing experience. So, chill with the realistic points; you'll only tire yourself. 🤣

Pretty standard fare but it was well produced. The star was really the horse. There was one scene during the race that the horse really did run flat out!! That was amazing!!
