Tramell Tillman was born on June 17, 1985 (Tramell Tillman: Age 37) in Largo, Maryland. He has five older siblings.

Tillman graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in 2003 and went to the University of Louisiana to study to become an orthopedic surgeon. However, Tillman did not like schooling. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Tillman transferred to Jackson State University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications.

The “Bass Reeves” series from Taylor Sheridan starring David Oyelowo has added two new series regulars, Variety has learned exclusively.

Forrest Goodluck and Lauren E. Banks are both set to star in the show alongside series lead Oyelowo and previously announced cast member Dennis Quaid. The series is based on the true story of the titular lawman. Per the official description, “Reeves, known as the greatest frontier hero in American history, worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded.”

Banks will play Jennie, described as “the strong and fiercely loyal wife of Bass Reeves.” Goodluck will play Billy Crow, said to be a “young Cherokee man with an affinity for dime store books and gaudy style.”

Banks recently starred in the Showtime series “City on a Hill” as well as the Starz limited series “Gaslit.

Playing Seth Milchick, a supervisor and middle man at the mysterious Lumon Industries, on Apple TV+’s Severance, has changed Tramell Tillman’s life.

“The show dropped in February of this year … and nobody knew who I was in January,” Tillman tells THR. “I went to Comic-Con for the first time [in July], and my whole body was on a building — my face was everywhere. A person tapped me on the shoulder and asked for a picture. And the next thing you know, a crowd just grew, and so many people knew who I was.”

Tillman — whose previous small-screen roles include parts on Dietland and Godfather of Harlem — had just finished a run in the Broadway play The Great Society in 2019 and was looking for his next gig when Severance came across his desk.

The streamer placed a series order Tuesday for the series that stars the actress as a hearbroken women who is bored of her life because every single day is the same.

Netflix has ordered a darkly comic thriller starring and exec produced by The Good Place’s Kristen Bell.

Limited series The Woman In The House comes from Will Ferrell’s production company Gloria Sanchez Productions. It was created by Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson and Larry Dorf, the creators of TV Land comedy Nobodies. The trio will serve as co-showrunners.

The eight-episode series is centered around Anna, a heartbroken, for whom, every day is the same. She sits with her wine, staring out the window, watching life go by without her. The first full trailer for MGM’s “Respect,” the upcoming Aretha Franklin starring vocal powerhouse Jennifer Hudson as the Queen of Soul, has arrived. The preview dropped Sunday night following Hudson’s performance at the BET Awards, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year.

Exclusive: Tramell Tillman (Hunters) is set as a lead alongside Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Britt Lower, Jen Tullock and Zach Cherry in Severance, Apple’s upcoming workplace thriller series directed by and executive produced by Ben Stiller.

Severance takes place at Lumen Industries, which is looking to take work-life balance to a new level. Tillman will play Milchick, an intensely earnest employee at the company.

The series is written and created by Dan Erickson, whose Severance script was the first TV script to make it on to the annual Bloodlist in 2016.

Created executive producers/showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien, along with Ep Andrew Ross Sorkin, Season 4 of Billions saw former enemies Bobby Axelrod (Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti), and Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff), the chief counselor to each, came together to form an uneasy but highly effective alliance, aimed at the eradication of all their rivals. They include Grigor Andolov (guest star John Malkovich), Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon), Bryan Connerty (Toby Leonard Moore) and Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat (guest star Clancy Brown).

AMC has added a pair of series to its roster of originals, picking up the legal drama 61st Street and the hourlong dark comedy Kevin Can F*** Himself.

The two shows, both from in-house AMC Studios, came out of the cabler's script-to-series development model, whereby a writers room is opened and several scripts are written. If those come in well, the project bypasses filming a pilot and goes straight to series. The model has produced the current AMC series Lodge 49 and NOS4A2, as well as the since-canceled Dietland and The Son.

Exclusive: Alanna Ubach is set for a recurring role in Fox’s high-profile new drama series Filthy Rich starring Kim Cattrall, from The Help writer-director Tate Taylor, Imagine Television and 20th Century Fox TV.

Filthy Rich is a southern Gothic family drama in which wealth, power and religion collide – with outrageously soapy results. When the patriarch of a mega-rich Southern family, famed for creating a wildly successful Christian television network, dies in a plane crash, his wife and family are stunned to learn that he fathered three illegitimate children, all of whom are written into his will, threatening their family name and fortune.

Ubach will play Yopi, Antonio’s (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) mother. She’s a fighter who knows how to win and a career gambler who’s always willing to take a chance.

In the third episode of Shrill, the new Hulu comedy based on Lindy West’s same-named memoir, Annie, a thirtyish magazine editor played by Aidy Bryant, attends a pool party. There, for the first time, she enters a world filled with people who look like her: fat women, drinking, dancing, swimming and sunning themselves — “living in their bodies and enjoying their lives,” Annie marvels.

Dietland alumna Erin Darke is set as the lead in YouTube Premium’s comedy pilot It’s a Man’s World (working title), from Smash creator Theresa Rebeck, Christina Wayne’s Assembly Entertainment and ITV Studios America. In addition, Romeo Tirone has been tapped to direct and executive produce the pilot. Production began February 25 in New York.

Alanna Ubach has joined the cast of the untitled single-camera comedy pilot at ABC that hails from Hannah Simone, Variety has learned.

Simone will star in, write, and executive produce the project, which is inspired by Simone’s family. In the project, Hannah (Simone) and her Indian-American immigrant father Sid have always been close, but after she admits to herself that she’s in a dead-end job and he reveals his marriage is over, they’re starting over together and each finding a new path. This new chapter will either make them crazy close or just crazy.

Ubach will portray Susan, the family’s closest friend, filled with confidence and booze, always over-the-top. Susan can be counted on to say exactly the wrong thing at all times. Ubach joins previously announced cast members Simone and Jane Leeves.

Ubach recently lent her voice to the hit Disney-Pixar film “Coco.

Julianna Margulies is leaving behind the power suits and high heels she was accustomed to wearing while working on The Good Wife and Dietland, opting instead to wear military fatigues in National Geographic’s The Hot Zone. Margulies stars as Army scientist Lt. Col. Nancy Jaax in the small screen adaption of the 1994 best-selling novel by Richard Preston about the origins of the Ebola virus.

The six-part miniseries follows the heroic Jaax and her race to contain the viral hemorrhagic fever of Central African origins before an outbreak infects the U.S. population. A trailer for the series was released today at the Television Critics Association meeting.

Margulies was joined by co-stars Noah Emmerich, Liam Cunningham, Topher Grace, James D’Arcy, Paul James, and showrunners Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders for a Television Critics Association spring presentation panel on Sunday to discuss the drama set to air May 27-29 at 9/8c.

The Women’s Image Awards has announced its 2018 nominations, with the BBC miniseries “Little Women” that aired on PBS’ “Masterpiece” series earning a leading six bids on the TV side. As for films, “Mary Queen of Scots” secured five spots on the ballot, followed by the Ruth Bader Ginsberg biopic “On the Basis of Sex” and Melissa McCarthy’s “Can Your Ever Forgive Me,” both with four.

Next spring’s Broadway revival of Lanford Wilson’s Burn This starring Adam Driver and Keri Russell has completed casting and set an April 16 opening date at the Hudson Theatre.

Exclusive: After working with Jay Roach on Meet the Fockers, Alanna Ubach is set to play Fox News spitfire host Jeanine Pirro in the filmmaker’s upcoming untitled feature about the women who battle against network boss Roger Ailes and his hostile corporate culture. Pirro was one of the Fox News hosts who defended Ailes, ripping apart Fnc colleague Gretchen Carlson’s sexual harassment lawsuit back in July 2016.

Carlson will be played by Nicole Kidman in the movie. Pirro has known Ailes for three decades going back to her assistant Da days in NYC. At the time when Carlson’s suit hit, Pirro felt Ailes wasn’t capable of the abuse Carlson was subjecting him to.

Bron Studios is co-financing the production which is already shooting and Lionsgate is finalizing their domestic deal to distribute and co-finance; the studio is already selling foreign on the pic as Deadline exclusively reported from AFM.
