What a disappointing 600th episode. Some of the early Treehouse Of Horrors are my favourite Simpsons episodes ever. How far the greats have fallen. Should have ended 300 episodes ago.
Ending the show making fun of other shows when the Simpson's has been terrible for years.
How can people give this TOH a 10.0 unless the first ten TOH's somehow get 20.0?
Not one laugh in three segments but some more useless gore.
Please end this series. Please put the shark out of its misery.

Treehouse of Horror XXVII is a great Simpsons episode with some very well written segments and a ton of very funny scenes. It begins with a strong opening, commenting on how they have now struck their landmark 600th episode, featuring some characters who have had a big effect on the series. The closing number at the end of the show was also fantastic, parodying Goldfinger and poking fun of the many Fox series that were canceled after one season.
The first two segments were very average, end of the road, Treehouse of Horror episodes. The Hunger Games one was fun, but spent too much time poking fun at the film series rather than trying to tell a story. Followed by that, the imaginary friend one was a bit humourless, definitely the weakest of the three, consisting of us merely watching characters get killed for five minutes.
The highlight of the night for me was the final segment, a funny James Bond parody that does succeed in telling a story rather than focusing too much on poking fun at the many 007 films. Seeing Moe as a secret agent and Homer as the ruthless villain was really fresh, unlike anything the show has done previously.
As far as Treehouse of Horrors go, it falls somewhere in the middle, not the worst, but certainly not the best. Very enjoyable, Treehouse of Horror XXVII is a forgettable Halloween special, but fun while it lasts.
Lisa is forced to fight to the death against other Springfield children, an imaginary friend causes chaos across Springfield and Bart joins Moe on a secret mission.

So the 600th episode of the Simpsons and they managed to screw it up too. Actually it doesn't really surprise me. So yeah it's your standard try hard Simpsons episode. Basically the first one is just Hunger Games done terribly. The second one is just dull, boring and predictable. The third one is just weird being a James Bond parody which is not suppose to be scary. Just a bore fest. Ironic how in the end the Simpsons made fun of bad shows when obviously they have been bad for years now. I have nothing else to say I mean what do we expect from the Simpsons, nowadays?
This the book of The Simpsons they're fighting in the darkness land and destroying every boss the joke is now coming to make up 108 over a fight a sing this song of fight with every bosses, Homer And His Family and a lot of new and old allies they will reunite together and fight evil Mr Burns getting back the book and then victory is up and we screeeeeam we fight for Disney.
