This show is one of the crassest, random-est and funniest new Australian talent of recent years. It is animated in MS Paint, but rather than detract,it really adds to the show. Imagine stoner humour mixed with elements of Seinfeld mixed with traces of Dragon Ball Z with Disney and Australian bogan culture. It really is incredible.
There is lots of swearing. In most comedies, this is used to try and generate shock value, but here, swearing becomes the norm and the excessive curse words don't hurt the show too much. The show also frequently contains drug use.
The show has recently gained an underground cult following abroad, with sold out live shows in Dublin and Bristol.
I would recommend it to anyone who's bored and is looking for something new.

Without the offering of free laptops to students in Australia by an ex- politician these three high-school students wouldn't have made their drawings come to life in such an amazingly creative way.
A free web series chronicling the adventures of a middle-aged Aussie prince from another world facing off against his gay brother and an infection of mutated Homer Simpsons to become the new King of his original homeland. With the help of a large list of side-characters, and a lot of drugs, anything is possible.
If you are a fan of South Park's humor, Futurama's colorful characters and the insanity of Aqua Teen Hunger Force you owe it to yourself to watch this.

This show speaks to a generation of young stoners thought out the world & can bring all types of people together for a laugh...
Been watching this for the last few years, it's left such an imprint on me and the boys lives. Got to meet Jarrad at the Dublin screening of Chumah Island 3, you could see the passion and love he has for his work and all the fans can feel it. Me kids are gonna watch this from the second they comprehend what a doobskin is. There will never be a better story written.
Much love from me and the boys.

Just watch and you will understand. The show finally came to an extremely satisfying end just a couple of weeks ago. No better time to watch the entire series.

To call the big lez show and all of its related shows a masterpiece quite frankly doesn't do the show justice. It easily competes with shows which have a seemingly unlimited amount of funding and is capable of not only competing with said shows but also surpassing the shows rather consistently. The big Lez show is brilliant in its utilisation of the available resources. With the show in the position it was when it was first created, it was able to create a compelling plot, enjoyable characters and above all amazing humour. To this day I have many inside jokes with various friends of mine, jokes such as popcoin, you absolute druggo and many others. This show is almost unique in its ability to convey Australian culture, and it is in my belief that at one point in every Australian life they should watch this, likely as a teenager to get the best out of it. Additionally, those who become Australian citizens should watch this as it is almost perfect in its ability of representing Australian culture, its humour, its values all of it. In conclusion it is in my belief that every show these days, whether it's a heavily funded streaming platform show or an independent show, should use the Big Lez show as the gold standard of what every show should strive to achieve.
I will always think it's the biggest tragedy that not more people know about this show. I know that it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea but it's a little bit of genius.
At first sight it may seem like a bit of shallow psychedelic humour but you soon realize there is a lot more to this show than meets the eye. It maintains the heart and soul that grounds the best shows, that so many Hollywood shows lose in the pursuit of commercial success.
Each season is different and seems to gradually get more and more focussed on the plot, with the first season being largely a show of some amazing humour with some setup of plot, and the final season prioritizing finishing the brilliant journey you have been taken on.
It is made by a small group of friends and it shows, in the best way. Not only you will laugh but you will also be surprised in the best way. I could talk about this forever but no one wants to read an essay, so go and watch it for yourself. It only takes a few hours.
My personal favorite show of all time! Praise be to Jarrad Wright.

Legend! Emphasis on the paint because most people will hate on the animation (I would rather **** in my hands and clap... ) but it in itself is why we love it! From all the Lads here in Norfolk, UK this show has accompanied many the sesh! The story is ace, quality bunch of characters and what a ******* story man!

Clarence... .... you potato head, I truly am glad you finally stood up for yourself. I was starting to think you'd be the butt end of the joke until the very end.
This show is not for everyone; if you tend to enjoy a little rugged animation, Australian humor, and loads of drugs, you'll get a kick out of this series.

This series is such a special thing to me, it is so comforting yet poetically beautiful at times, at times (most of the times) insanely vulgar, but that is exactly why I adore this masterpiece of a show so much. I would suggest you go completely blind into this series as I have too, I found out this randomly while on YouTube and by today i have completed every available series by jarrad wright , btw if you're seeing this jarrad , you're a genius mate ! An absolute genius! , personally, sassy the sasquatch, big lez , Donny and Clarence and the behind the scenes have been my favourites but Mike's show is also obviously really great , this was my first introduction to aussie culture as I am from India haven't touched much out of world literature expect from Japan and the US and from my home country. And it was such a diabolical experience (in the best way possible) that I've cried to it several times , it's funny because watching the show initially you wouldn't think this would teach you life lessons, make you laugh like hell, make all of the main characters one of your favorites in fiction. I've tried to not spoil it one bit, so i hope even if one person is convinced to watch this masterpiece through my review , I would be really happy. It's just as was said in the show "Do good things so that good things happen to you". I love love love big lez but Clarence takes the cake for me for perhaps the funniest character ever born. And jarrad, thank you for making this. Thank you for making my favourite show ever.

The big lez show is the work of a genius, the guy doesn't get enough credit for the awesome characters he's made, you might have to understand Aussie humour to get it but definitely worth a watch, especially if you enjoy the sesh.

Through people we laughed, through people we cried, the big Lez show was the making of me, it has made me into who I am today, without Sassy, Donny, big Lez I would be nothing but I have been made into something, big Lez show will make you cry, it will make you laugh and it will make you feel feelings you've never felt before, take my advice watch it. Also I think that this show should be studied in gcse english. Remember this quote, "why'd you run off into the bushes mate", "I saw a light fall outa the sky and I chased it", "aren't we all chasing the light mate, looking everywhere to find it, every where but within"
The whole show is brilliant. Filled with hilarious comedy, an enjoyable storyline, and characters that you can't help but love. Absolutely awesome and can't wait for more stuff from the creators.
Watch this if you want to expand your mind. Imagine if you bought a one way ticket to the astral plains... but you got two tickets.

When you are on another planet you feel like you are one with the writers and with Big Lez, the ending was an emotional one to take in and is a great show to watch with your friends especially with a treat to go with it. I had started this all just a few months back and finished it within a weekend, and it left me wishing there was more. This is one of those shows which are better off without those big boring media companies to mediate and ruin the aesthetic of the show. More series like this need to appear to bring back the culture and would definitely watch again with a higher concentration.

To think that this whole show was made on a school laptop in paint is mind blowing. The dedication that Jarrad showed in the creation proces is unmatched. Also, a very good show, one of the best animated comedies ever made, the jokes are original and actually funny, the characters are iconic. Getting past the animation of the first two seasons is the hardest step if you want to watch it but it is 100% worth it. Also, the jump in animation qualityfrom season 2 to 3 is so huge that it almost looks like it was made by a studio, even though it was still drawn in microsoft paint. I recommend this to everyone, you won't regret watching this.

You know, I don't know if I'm weird because of spending time watching this... But I LOVE IT.
It's a complex of many ideas resulting on an hilarious comedy like Rick and Morty or something.
You know, just say it: GREAT SHOW.

I just love everything about this show. The insane grind from the creator to bring us the show, the unique characterizations, and the absolutely insane plots. Browntown is such a great mainstay with awesome landmarks like the volcano bong and underground ufo garage. The choomahs are such a crazy invention and I absolutely love it. Their evolution is even wilder lol. I like how it's a comedy show with surreal or drug trips thrown in. The animation was great throughout and it's cool to see it improve as the show goes on. What I like most is that Jarrad upped the stakes each season. So stoked to rewatch his other shows.

I stumbled across the big lez show expecting a goofy little series that id watch 5 minutes of and turn off. But I was engaged right away, so I kept watching. After an hour of watching i knew it would be a favorite, because the humor used wasn't the humor im used to (different feel than family guy and simpsons) and each character was very likeable (except for Nortan), with their own diverse personalities. By the time it came to the end I was emotional to the point of self embarrassment. Good stuff Jarrad. Very good stuff.
