Actor Michael Keaton was offered the chance to voice the character of Alfred Pennyworth, but declined because he ironically didn't want to be in the opposite role out of respect for Michael Gough (who played Alfred in Tim Burtons Batman (1989), Batman : Le Défi (1992), Batman Forever (1995), and Batman & Robin (1997)) who passed away in 2011.
This marks the second Telltale game Troy Baker and Laura Bailey have done together. The first one was Tales from the Borderlands: A Telltale Games Series (2014)/
'Troy Baker (II)' (the voice of Batman), has previously been the voice of Batman in Lego Batman 3: Au-delà de Gotham (2014). He also voiced other Batman characters in the Batman Arkham series as he voiced Tim Drake (Robin) in Batman: Arkham City (2011), the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins (2013) and has also and Jason Todd (Red Hood) in Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)
