Jack Osbourne has opened up about the death of his father Ozzy Osbourne in a new video he posted on his official YouTube channel.
It’s been roughly six weeks since Ozzy’s passing on July 22nd, and Jack posted the clip to update fans on the status of his family, as well as his own mental wellbeing, as the Osbournes move forward without their patriarch.
Jack starts by describing the moment in which he discovered his father had passed. As Jack explained, he had left England for his home in Los Angeles about 10 days prior, and Ozzy had been seemingly doing well at that time.

While the world still mourns the loss of the heavy metal pioneer and singer Ozzy Osbourne, in his autobiography named I Am Ozzy (via Slate), the icon said he always thought his death would be absurd when it came. He listed down the ways he thought he would go out, saying.
Knowing me, I’ll go out in some stupid way. I’ll trip on the doorstep and break my neck. Or I’ll choke on a throat lozenge. Or a bird will shit on me and give me some weird virus from another planet.
Despite him joking about his passing in the past, his fans, as well as celebrities from all walks of life worldwide, were deeply saddened by the news of his death, and thus gave condolences and paid their respects to a true icon.

Adam Sandler only made $2 million for Happy Gilmore (via Parade)! But today, that figure looks laughable compared to what he earns as one of Hollywood’s top-paid actors. In 2023, Sandler raked in $73 million, topping Forbes’ list of highest-paid performers, even beating big stars like Margot Robbie and Tom Cruise (via The Guardian).
Happy Gilmore, directed by Dennis Dugan, featured the actor as a failed hockey player who turns into a chaotic golf pro. The movie became a comedy classic and has now spawned a sequel on Netflix, but at the time, it wasn’t his biggest financial win.

Survivor expects the contestants to constantly put their strongest foot forward and sometimes, things get a little out of hand. From backstabbing alliance to tearful goodbyes, it’s all a part of the show. However, there was one time when a contestant crossed the line on the survival show and ended up outing a fellow castaway as transgender. Needless to say, the rest of the cast members voted the tattletale out. Clearly, his move did not work out in his favor.
Survivor: Game Changers (2017) | Credits: CBS
This happened on Survivor: Game Changers, the 34th season of the competitive reality show. Contestant Jeff Varner took it upon himself to reveal to the world that Zeke Smith was in fact a transgender man and called him out for his ability to deceive others. Of course, this did not sit right with the other castaways who all voted Jeff Varner out for his immoral actions.

In addition to celebrating the music of Osbourne’s first band, Black Sabbath, Black has long championed Osbourne’s solo career, performing “Crazy Train” as a member of Tenacious D and “Mr. Crowley” with Tom Morello’s son, Roman. In fact, he’s been a fan of Osbourne’s for most of his life.

It’s been an uphill battle for Ozzy Osbourne in recent years.
The iconic rocker sat down for a new interview with The Observer in the Guardian and opened up about his health issues, including his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis.
Earlier this month, Osbourne surprised fans by joining Black Sabbath for a performance at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
“Since I had my [first neck] surgery and everything got f**ked up, it’s been three or four years since I’ve performed,” he says. “And I was thinking it’ll never happen again. But that show’s given me a bit of hope.”

Getting to perform did take a bit of work and help from his wife, he explained.
“Sharon had them put in a bracket at the back, to hold me up,” Osbourne said.
