    A NEW ERA!

Necrostorm promised us that Taeter Burger will be part of the beginning of a new era of Necrostorm movies... and they 100% delivered!

Let's get things clear - in order to understand the divisive ratings this movie has you have to know what you are getting yourself into watching a Necrostorm movie.

If you've ever seen any of their previous works you know that their main goal consists in creating crazy, over the top splatter movies with a retro charm.

If that's something you are interested in, absolutely give this movie a chance, since it's pretty much everything Necrostorm does best combined into a short and sweet, gore-fuled package full of grotesque sci-fi insanity.

The story is a ton of fun and moves very quickly.

With a runtime of just over an hour, no minute is wasted and you never get bored. (I enjoyed the structure and continuous buildup to an appropriately bloody climax. - it should also be said, that they even used this tale of cannibal dictatorship for some social commentary.) The quick pacing also results in some funny writing moments (for ex. The "expo-dump-android") that were necessary the keep the momentum of the movie going. They feel very intentional tho and make for fun, quotable moments instead of coming off as lazy.

The characters, especially the cartoonishly evil and disgusting ones, are a blast to watch and they even manage to make you somewhat care about the protagonists.

I also find it astounding how well the world building works considering the budget they were working with.

As expected, there is an abundance of incredible over the top splatter and gore effects.

They are very well paced, planted throughout the whole movie from beginning to end, and look phenomenal.

It should also be noted that the movie has a very unique look and feel.

I think it's fairly safe to say that Taeter Burger is the best Necrostorm movie to date.

You can really notice big improvements in pretty much all aspects of the movie: the look and picture quality, the editing, the acting, the fx....

I really enjoyed Taeter Burger and I really hope that all future Necrostorm releases will feature this level of quality.

All in all I can strongly recommend this movie to fans of Necrostorm and over the top splatter flicks in general.

I also believe that people who may not be the biggest fans of previous Necrostorm releases (maybe doe to the cheaper look of earlier movies etc..) can be won over by Taeter Burger due to the previously mentioned quality improvements.

A 10/10 for me since Taeter Burger pretty much covers everything you could want from a Necrostorm movie!

The super ultra-mega screamer is back

    Taeter City prequel.

What you would expect from a Necrostorm movie, but made way better and with a bigger budget. Better photography, better screenplay, better pacing, and waaaaaay better gore... and there is a tsunami of gore here :P Glad that the story was simple and very straightforward, not a mess like in Little Necro.

The story is about a dystopian future, where the usual USA mega-corporation decides this time to feed the masses with the corpses of criminals to kill two birds with one stone. However, most criminals are already dead, and the population is starving. What are they going to do now? In this absurd scenario, a couple of deaf employees and one robotic food dispenser must survive the night when a terrorist decides to attack a restaurant and turn everyone into crazed criminals with his super ultra-mega scream.

I won't spoil further, but the story has a good twist and a funny moral.

Really hope we will have the same quality in Hotel Inferno 4 and Adam Chaplin 2.

    Cheers from Germany.

    Necrostorm's best effort

Necrostorm are an ultra low budget splatter film production company who specialise exclusively in c-movie trash. Their movies may not be master works but they sure are entertaining.

If you want a well thought out plot, grounded characters or to be honest any kind of realism, intelligence or subtly this ain't where you'll find it. If you want outrageous gore, copious over-acting and cheesy FX this may be your jam.

Taeter Burger is the closest to a genuinely "good" film Necrostorm have so far released. The pacing, visuals and overall quality all feel a step up for their work.

Recommended for fans of Taeter City (2012), Insectula! (2015) and Tokyo Gore Police (2008).

    Best Necrostorm Title

If you know Necrostorm, you know what to expect from their titles: crazy action, wild stories, insane characters, a tsunami of gore, and low budget-but with pretty good quality.

Taeter Burger has everything that all Necrostorm movies had, but amplified and improved in every aspect. Better screenplay, far better special effects, better acting, and better pacing.

Definitely their best title so far. I can't wait to see Adam Chaplin 2 made with this level of quality.

Oh, and this is a prequel to Taeter City, not a sequel. I've seen people calling it a sequel, but it's clearly set before Taeter City, as the screaming mutant is still alive and well here. The movie focuses on a test involving him before he got loose.

    Best NecroStorm movie

After a very, very, very long wait, I finally received my crowdfunding Blu-ray copy, and I couldn't be happier. Easily this is the best movie the Necrostorm team has ever produced because it incorporates the best elements from all their productions, made 5 times better.

The story is simple and linear, with a very good climax and a meaningful moral as well.

The moral is quite relevant, even if we are not currently living in a Taeter City (luckily).

The special effects are 100% practical, mixed with CGI, and the blend is so well-made that they look unpleasantly real.

The acting is very convincing, and they have almost completely eliminated voice-over dubbing, relying on "real" actors (thank god).

The pacing is fast, and I mean bullet train fast, split into 10 chapters, with not a single boring moment. You are always glued to the screen, eagerly awaiting the next piece of action and gore ( even the end credits are full of gore XD)

A must-have for all fans of zombie-like movies, sci-fi, gore lovers, horror enthusiasts in general, and, of course, fans of necroStorm. This doesn't disappoint at all.

I was so happy to see my name in the credits.
