Out of India, but definitely not in the Bollywood style. Not sure what the cover of shoes w/teeth is suppose to mean - like the content of most of this document-drama (more drama than doc) it's unrelated to the '80s Punjab killing of the singing duo husband & wife (Amar Chamkila & Amarjot). Mostly hand held camera quality we sort of follow the route of the singers up to their still unsolved assassination. Some staged scenes which made no sense; lots of scenes of markets, streets, fields & unusual for India a sort of vaguely seen sex scene. Learned nothing other than some regarded their contemporary pop music as obscene - others truthful.

- TriviaPlaying the role of an aspiring actress, Navjot Randhawa, who studied acting in France, drew from her own real-life experiences. "Her being a struggling actor is also part of her reality," said director Kabir Singh Chowdhry. Her sex scene with Devrath Joshi is unsimulated. "I had to give them an essence of the scene and then wait for those beats to emerge. With non actors you are working with someone who is not performing and that allows me and the entire crew not to perform either - we just assimilate. I can't really isolate the sex scene from the rest of the film, because my method for filming followed the same pattern and was not particularly different or special during that one scene," Chowdhry explained.
