Hans Zimmer: Live in Prague

I wasn't aware of who Hans Zimmer was until The Dark Knight.. I saw a special they had detailing the journey to create "The Joker's Theme".. the way he explained it and created the piece was brilliant.. in essence, he wanted whosoever hears it to always know there's something hovering around.. a menace almost.. everyone should feel uneasy and on the edge of their seats.. it was right then and there I knew the brilliance of Hans. I didn't google his resume or know what movies he's done but this concert? Do yourself a favor and watch it.. turn up the music, sit back and you'll be smiling beginning to end

This is a fabulous concert. I only wish I could have had the honour of experiencing it live.

Zimmer has penned the scores to countless blockbuster movies, and they are presented here in the most glorious way. The arrangements are first class, the lighting is fantastic, the musicians are on-point as well as exceptionally stylish. Several of the players look like supermodels. And, being a huge fan of Batman, I found it exhilarating to experience several of the tracks from the Nolan trilogy presented in this way.

Highly recommended.

Hans Zimmer stands in my top three list of favorite composers of all time, the other two being Thomas Newman and John Williams. To hear and watch this on Blu-ray is simply a feast for ears and eyes. being a drummer myself, I have great respect for any kind of music style and instrument, but Satnam Ramgotra always leaves me wanting for more... This is a must have for film music fans..

I saw this show in Boston. You will be viewing all these musicians at the top of there game. And this stage is like the UN. Musicians are from around the planet.Try to watch this on a good sound system - you will not be disappointed. Hans Zimmer is our century's Beethoven. Extraordinary.

I visited this concert in O2 arena in Prague in May 2016 and it was magnificent experience. There was an amazing atmosphere throughout the concert, high quality of sound, breathtaking light effects and perfect musicians, of course. So, it was extraordinary experience, which I will never forget. The music documentary is a very good memory for this fantastic moment and shows very nice details from this concert.
