The Occult

3 scenes cut from the online version of the film include: 1. After Victor has looked through the books about he occult and he sits and thinks, the voice of Victor is heard questioning the idea of the occult, followed by seeing a story in the newspaper about supernatural activities on Dartmoor that he believes is the work of an Occult group bringing spirits back. This scene is then followed by Victor observing the view from a field looking over to the moors and pulling out his crucifix, but dropping it in the field; symbolizing he has lost his faith. 2. When Guy and Victor meet for the last time in the church, Guy takes Victor outside and chat more about the occult group Guy is the head of, Victor explains that he has lost his faith and wants to join their group, Guy tells Victor he must collect soil from under the church and meet for his initiation the following day. 3. Following the previous scene, Victor returns to the church late at night where he knows where there are loose floorboards so he can gain access under the church building to collect gravel.
