Really EXCELLENT, witty and ... so potentially true !!

Incredibly daring & witty, for it's choice of characters' languages - being a french production ! - ... Chinese ~ Persian ~ French ~ (some) English ... while also evidencing the plain & assumed (?)cultural & (or) traditional DIVIDE between nowadays (hypocritical) over-bearing ""religious"" ruled { Islamic } society ... and free-wheeling democratic, equal, open and 'enjoyable' Western-European counterpart's ...! More so, whence you realize that the main character ... actually SPEAKS (mandarin) Chinese, that all locally identified characters (also) express themselves in Farsi/Persian, and ... that the whole concept and story is ... believable !!

Kuddo's to ALL involved for such an entertaining, funny and ... lovely EXPERIENCE !!

P.S.: just watch-out and enjoy~appreciate ALL individual "chameo" characters ... such as the (real) autistic self-representing individuals ...

    special

the first word about it is experience. in all senses. because it is a French film , with each virtue of this splendid recipe. in same measure, it is a spectacular challenge. for drama, for cultural clash, for delicacy, for humor, for the bitter taste. a film who seems use a simple story for a refined mix of French, Farsi, Mandarin, autism, looking for details of secret life of a husband/father, few drops of Kusturita and the peace with yourself.so, a film out of descriptions. because it is a touching story about differences and about subtle forms of knowledge.and this detail does it a real must see film.
