In June 2014, comedian Pete Holmes’ TBS talk show “The Pete Holmes Show” was cancelled after just nine months on the air. But now, Holmes is set to make a comeback with a new stand-up special and a half-hour sitcom, executive produced by Judd Apatow. His new series “Crashing” follows a young comedian (Holmes) whose wife (Lauren Lapkus) abruptly leaves him for an Italian boxer. Holmes wrote the pilot and it will be directed by Apatow.
