It feels like we can all admit that Andrew Garfield has a knack for stepping into biographical roles. Sure, his unfairly short-lived time as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man was a fan-favorite role of his career, but the actors ability to deliver a very on-point and personal performance is out of this world. From movies like The Social Network to Breathe, the entertainment aficionado has shown his versatility. Nearly a full decade ago, Garfield took on one of the most challenging roles of his career with Mel Gibsons Hacksaw Ridge a decision that paid off in a major way. Not only did the movie become a financial juggernaut at the global box office, but it would end up landing the young actor his first Academy Award nomination. Interested parties should mark down November 1 on their calendars as the based-on-a-true-story wartime feature is set to arrive on Paramount+.

In a stark future where Earth's air is no longer safe, the few remaining survivors would be left to scrap and claw for every last store of oxygen. That's the terrifying reality imagined by Stefon Bristol's upcoming action thriller Breathe, which stars Jennifer Hudson and Quvenzhané Wallis as a mother and daughter who are limited to living underground when the surface becomes uninhabitable. A new trailer shared today shows their desperate fight for survival when confronted by strangers seeking shelter whose intentions may not be as benevolent as they initially seem.

Jennifer Hudson is still playing coy about her romance with Common — but still couldn’t help but compliment her rumoured beau.
The singer/actress/talk show was recently asked by paparazzi about whether or not she’d like to address speculation that she and Common are a couple, in video obtained by TMZ.
“The rumours say a lot of things,” Hudson, 41, said, before adding with a smile, “He’s a beautiful man, I will give you that.”
The pair, who connected on the set of the upcoming action-thriller “Breathe”, first sparked dating speculation in July 2022, when they were spotted out and about together.
When Et spoke to Hudson two months later, she addressed the romance rumours.
“People create their narratives of it and it’s like, Ok, you know, how you feel,” she told Et of the chatter. “We shot a film together and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments.

The Apple Watch Se 2 is the most affordable model in Apple's new lineup, but is an Ecg sensor among the features that have been sacrificed to achieve its low price tag? The first Apple Watch Se was launched back in 2020 as a cheaper version of the Apple Watch Series 6. It offered the core features of an Apple smartwatch but without the high price tag.
The Apple Watch Se 2 shares its design with its predecessor, which means it is made from less-premium materials. It has Ion-x front glass and a back case that is made from a nylon composite material, which is just a fancy way of saying it's plastic. In addition, it doesn't have dust resistance and there is only a single aluminum case option, unlike the Series 8 which is IP6X dust resistant and is available in aluminum and stainless steel variants. Apart from these, another way the...

Five years after it first hit SoundCloud, Shamir’s album Hope has been reissued on vinyl for a deluxe version via Kill Rock Stars, featuring the never-before-heard songs “Breathe” and “Camouflage.”
Hope was the follow-up to Shamir’s debut album, 2015’s Ratchet, and came about in a miraculous way. Stunned by the attention and acclaim Ratchet garnered, but taken aback by the pressures of fame and the process of commodification, Shamir almost quit music entirely. But a single weekend recording session brought him back from the edge, and resulted in the creation of Hope.
“Hope came at a time in my life when I was desperately searching for it,” Shamir explained in a statement. “I found myself not wanting to do music anymore after a rough introduction into the music industry. I didn’t feel seen or heard as the artist I was, or at least wanted to be, and...

Running concurrent with the wider festival, NewImages’ mercantile section has become an event unto itself, hosting a global who’s who from the Xr scene while helping in no small part to reshape the field. As it stands to welcome nearly 250 participants – roughly half divided between market participants and heavyweight decision makers – this year’s fully in-person event should do little to reverse that trend.
“We’re very international,” says Xr market head Ellen Kuo. “With more than half of our participants coming from outside Europe, and with several coming from the U.K., Italy, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Poland, I call [our network] Paris beyond Paris.”
Driving this year’s robust turnout are the Xr Development Market for projects at earlier phases and the Xr Art Fair for those winding down a festival run and looking for distribution – though, as it accounts for 70% of NewImages’ market activity, the development expo is clearly the bigger draw.

The jokes will extend well past April 1st on HBO and HBO Max.
“Barry” returns for its fourth and final season. After the shocking Season 3 finale which saw Barry (Billy Hader) getting arrested and Cousineau (Henry Winkler) being hailed as a hero, there will be plenty of consequences for both. The dark comedy premieres on April 16 with two episodes.
“A Black Lady Sketch Show” will also bring plenty of laughs when it returns for its fourth season. The sketch comedy series premieres April 14.
On the drama side, the limited series “Love and Death” premieres on April 27. It’s based on the true story of Candy (Elizabeth Olsen) and Pat Montgomery (Patrick Fugit) and Betty (Lily Rabe) and Allan Gore (Jesse Plemons) – two churchgoing couples enjoying their small-town Texas life… until an extramarital affair leads somebody to pick up an axe.
For comic fans, the midseason premiere of the final season...
