Trent's Mother, Grandmother, Uncle and Stepfather all helped work on the film. His Mother, acted as a producer and helped with craft services, his Grandmother, made the costumes for one of the scenes in the film, his Uncle, acted as a producer, and his Stepfather, helped with transportation and craft services.
Most of the actors in the film are the director's close friends, and along with Trent are professional dancers. Not once in this film do they dance.
The movie was shot in the director's hometown, Biloxi, Mississippi and other surrounding cities that he grew up around such as; Ocean Springs, Gulfport and Long Beach.
Started off as a music video two years ago.
"Panda" writer/director, Trent Dickens, disclosed in an interview that producer Darnell Fayard Sheffield was his babysitter when he was young.
