The ability to watch beautiful ladies get naked in the comfort of your own home has got easier over the years. Same with the level of quality. Back with VHS, early days of DVD the same can't be said. Companies like Playboy & Penthouse were putting out generally high quality stuff, but the content was tame up until the mid 90's. Then there were small companies trying to get a piece of the pie with lower quality videos. Case in point? Titles like 'Malibu Hardbodies' from Player.

Tame content where models dance around, lightly work out in slow segments where it's not uncommon for it to take awhile for the clothes to come off. Heck in some of the segments here their bottoms never come off and it begins & ends at topless. Many well known models like Julie Strain (cover) did work for these outfits which got you in the door. Then almost a guarantee, they'd be smart enough to spring for a great box cover better than the final product.

Combine unsatisfying visuals with poor production values where the quality of camera work varied and you have a recipe for wasting your time and money. Imagine picking up a title that you didn't find very hot featuring cheesy background music and usage of horrible video effects. Congrats welcome to 1992 and Player's 'Malibu Hardbodies'.
