Miley Cyrus has spent her whole career mutating and evolving, making drastic musical left turns. She went from Hannah Montana to the indie-sleaze neon orgy that was Bangerz, the ultimate “Disney kid breaks free” statement. But that turned out to be just one of the many Mileys we’d get to know — over the next decade, she moved on to the stoner prog-rock of her Flaming Lips project Dead Petz, to the rootsy country of Younger Now, to the Eighties electro power-glitz of Plastic Hearts. Some thought Endless Summer Vacation...

Miley Cyrus’s latest album is finally here, as the pop superstar released her much-anticipated Something Beautiful on Friday.
Something Beautiful is Cyrus’s ninth album in her nearly 20-year career and follows 2023’s Endless Summer Vacation, which featured her global smash hit “Flowers.” Cyrus previously described the new album as “a unique visual experience fueled by fantasy” and a “one of a kind pop opera.” She’s also set to release an accompanying film for the record for one night only on June 12, and the movie will premiere next week at Tribeca.
The album has been widely expected to be one of the biggest releases of 2025. Earlier this week, Cyrus shared the album for a crowd of about 100 fans at a listening party at the Chateau Marmont, surprising attendees with an intimate performance as well, where she performed Something Beautiful tracks “Easy Lover,” “More to Lose” and ““End of the World,...

Miley Cyrus was hospitalized after she suffered a “brutal” infection in her knee while filming the video for her album Something Beautiful.
A film based on the album, also called Something Beautiful, which stars Cyrus, will drop on May 30 along with her album. A scene of the movie is filmed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
On May 22, Cyrus appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and shared how she and her team hadn’t had the budget to reserve the Walk of Fame to film and decided to skirt the crowds by filming at night. The Grammy-winning singer shared during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that due to her budget for the project, she decided to go to the iconic landmark at night to film, as there would be fewer people around. However, she “caught something” in the process.
“I filmed this video in October, and by November, on Thanksgiving, I was put in ICU for a moment,” Cyrus said, clarifying that she was put in the intensive care unit, specifically, because the hospital was full due to the holiday.

Miley Cyrus is opening up more than ever these days — about things very painful and very personal to the singer.
Last week, for example, Miley offered some candid quotes about her parents and where she stands with both her mother and her father.
Now, meanwhile?
The topic has turned to Miley’s ongoing sobriety.

“I’ve learned this about myself over the years,” the artist explained to Zane Lowe in a May 21 Apple Music interview. “Sobriety is — that’s like my God. I need it, I live for it. It’s changed my entire life.”
Wow, huh? Powerful words.
Back in 2020, Cyrus told this same host she had relapsed amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Miley Cyrus is giving Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter their “Flowers.”
The three-time Grammy Award-winning artist opened up about her admiration for the pop stars in an interview on The Zane Lowe Show. There, Cyrus admitted she’s “big fans” of both Roan and Carpenter while commending their debut Grammy performances earlier this year.
“I thought Sabrina and Chappell both at the Grammys this year, it was over the top pro singing,” she said. “I’m just big fans and I just support those girls all the way.”
Cyrus continued to applaud their Grammy sets because “there is so much pressure on live performance” and she knows first-hand “the courage that it takes and I know that the nerves get in the way” when taking the stage.
“I know that both of them were probably choking on their heart because it’s so much pressure, and they just nailed it,...

Miley Cyrus has set the stage for “Something Beautiful.”
The Grammy-winning singer has released videos for the first two songs — “Prelude” and “Something Beautiful” — off of her upcoming album Something Beautiful.
The clips, dropped hours apart on Monday, show Cyrus in dramatic ensembles performing moody tracks.
Befitting its name, the shorter “Prelude” serves as somewhat of an introduction to the album, as she shares spoken word existential thoughts over intensifying instrumentals over brief images of flowers interspersed with written lyrics.
“Like when following an image from a train, your eyes can’t keep the passing landscapes from being swallowed into endless distance,” she says. “Like when holding a fistful of ashes, your hands can’t save the things that have already been dissolved into air.”
Cyrus ultimately appears, wearing the same archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture she sports on the album artwork, which was shot by fashion photographer Glen Luchford. “The...

A new Miley Cyrus visual album is on the way, as Cyrus released a trailer on Tuesday for an accompanying film for her upcoming ninth studio album Something Beautiful.
The trailer calls the new film “a unique visual experience fueled by fantasy” and a “one of a kind pop opera.” It’ll be scored by 13 songs from the album. The Something Beautiful album itself drops on May 30, and the film will come out some time in June.
Cyrus had indicated in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar back in November that Something Beautiful would be a visual album, with Cyrus saying her concept for the project was inspired by Pink Floyd’s 1979 classic The Wall. “We really leaned in. And so I have this heart-first attachment to it,” Cyrus told the outlet at the time. “My idea was making The Wall, but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture.

Miley Cyrus has announced her new album, Something Beautiful. The follow-up to 2023’s Endless Summer Vacation, which featured Cyrus’ Grammy-winning hit “Flowers,” will arrive on May 30th via Columbia Records.
While details around the LP are still somewhat slim, Cyrus has unveiled the official artwork and confirmed 13 tracks in the project. Cyrus co-produced the album with Shawn Everett, who notably engineered Kacey Musgraves’ beloved Golden Hour. Something Beautiful is now available for pre-order with a number of CD, vinyl, and box set packages.
“Captured by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford, the album artwork features Miley Cyrus draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling,” she shared via social media.
Though Cyrus has promised new tracks in Something Beautiful, the aesthetic of the album artwork isn’t unlike that of The Last Showgirl, for which Cyrus contributed an original song titled “Beautiful That Way.

Bill Murray’s deadpan remains undefeated — even by the worst First We Feast’s Hot Ones had to offer. The pop culture legend appeared on the YouTube hot-wings-eating talk show hosted by Sean Evans to discuss his new movie Riff Raff, and seemed to enjoy it immensely. He certainly fared better than his Riff Raff co-star Pete Davidson, who pops by at the end of the episode for a quick cameo — only to immediately start suffering.
Right at the start, Murray explains that he’s not afraid of the spice levels at Chinese or Mexican restaurants, and at one point points out that he thinks “sriracha is cheating.” While working their way through the usual lineup of chicken, Murray calmly answers Evans’ questions about the movie he thought was his best work (the Jim Jarmusch movie Flowers) and his old garage band (The Dutch Masters). Richard Gadd may be earning quite a few awards for his breakout Netflix series “Baby Reindeer,” but he’s not holding onto many.
“I tend to give most of them out to people, if you can believe that,” he told me Saturday at the Independent Spirit Awards, where he took home the prize for best lead in a new scripted series.
“I never want to reveal where they are in case people break into the house because some of them are obviously very valuable now, but [mom has] got a few, I’ll put it that way,” he said. “I think I’ve got about two awards in my house. I think I’ve got one of the three Emmys and I think I’ve got an Olivier.”
When gifting the awards, he tells the lucky recipients, “Thanks for everything you’ve done for me. I’m here and I’m alive because of you.

A Day to Remember have surprise released their new album as a physical-first drop. Two new singles, “Make It Make Sense” and “LeBron,” are available to stream now (listen below)
The cheekily titled A Day To Remember’s Big Ole Album Vol. 1 is now available on vinyl and CD via online retailers and brick-and-mortar shops. To celebrate the occasion, nearly 50 record stores are hosting listening events for the new album. Meanwhile, a full digital release on streaming services is set for March 21st.
Opening up the record, “Make It Make Sense” is described as an “unbridled blast of aggression and energy” via the band’s press release and touts a hardcore breakdown and guttural screams from singer Jeremy McKinnon.
The other single “LeBron” goes more pop-punk, using the future NBA hall-of-famer as a metaphor for the veteran band overcoming naysayers and detractors, driven home by the self-described “arena-size refrain”:...

Kicking off with a tribute to the Blues Brothers from the evening’s host Jimmy Fallon, last night’s “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” pulled out all the stops in celebrating the show’s rich musical history, as well as the influence music has had on its comedy. And though Fallon made sure to start the affair at Radio City Music Hall by pointing out that everyone in the room had some form of connection to “Saturday Night Live” and were not there as casual spectators, watching at home, its clear the production worked hard to place fans of the staple variety series right at the the center of the action as well.
The first singer of the evening was Miley Cyrus. After a rendition of Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” accompanied by The Roots (they served as the house band for the evening) and Brittany Howard, Cyrus gave...

Heading into “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert,” it was clear that the event was going to be a celebration of all things “Saturday Night Live.” After all, it’s right there in the concert’s name. What’s more surprising is how Peacock’s Friday night concert morphed into a joyous love letter to live TV itself.
Between the scope of its performances, the truly remarkable camerawork and the confidence of an endless roster of comedians who professionally perform live, the concert captured the edge-of-a-knife feeling “SNL” has always elicited while also blowing that feeling up to its most extreme and lavish form.
The performance itself belonged to Lorne Michaels and The Roots, both of whom received so many shoutouts and thank yous, it feels silly to even keep count. But inside the room, the insider audience fought between wanting to go all out and trying to keep its cool...

The SNL 50: Homecoming Concert at Radio City Music Hall Friday was one of the starriest and genre-bending concerts in recent history.
The concert, which took place ahead of the show’s big three-hour anniversary special Sunday, saw performances from Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Cher, Lady Gaga (who took took part in a musical sketch with Lonely Island and returned with a performance of “Shallow”), Nirvana, led by Post Malone, Backstreet Boys, Snoop Dog, Lauryn Hill and Wyclef, David Byrne, Arcade Fire and St. Vincent, Eddie Vedder, Devo, The White Stripes and more.
The artists who performed had a connection to SNL, as did the invite-only crowd, which was made up of those who had worked at the late night sketch show or had a connection to someone who had.
Jimmy Fallon hosted the night, kicking it off with an energetic performance honoring the Blues Brothers. But before he took the stage,...

Suddenly, it’s 2006 again.
Lady Gaga took the stage at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert on Friday night to perform “Shallow” from Bradley Cooper’s 2018 film A Star Is Born. She was joined by SNL alum Andy Samberg, who was comically filling in for Cooper.
Gaga quickly interrupted Samberg and suggested they perform something more in his “vocal range.” Samberg mentioned: “There is one song, but Justin [Timberlake’s] not here to do his parts!” Gaga responded: “Andy, don’t be a bitch. I’ll do it with you.”
They then sang a slower version, with Gaga playing the piano, of “Dick in a Box,” a fan-favorite SNL sketch and The Lonely Island song that aired during a holiday episode of the comedy sketch series in 2006. The performance earned laughs from Colin Jost, Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Jessica Parker and more in the audience. The original sketch starred the comedy duo, Justin Timberlake and Samberg.

With the 2025 Grammys due to be handed out on Sunday there’s much drama over several marquee races, including Record of the Year. Although the official Gold Derby odds favor Sabrina Carpenter‘s “Espresso,” it doesn’t mean she’s a lock, especially considering she’s up against a two-time previous winner of this category, the most awarded artist in Grammy history, and one of the most beloved bands in the history of recorded music.

The Los Angeles wildfires may have muted the music business’ usual weeklong celebration leading to the 67th annual Grammy Awards, but maybe that’s served to shine a brighter spotlight on music’s biggest night and its nominated artists? In any case, this year’s competition is (Sasha) fierce! When Beyoncé struts into the Crypto.com Arena on Feb. 2, she does so with the most nominations, 11, including three in the top general categories — album, record and song of the year — a feat shared by Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter (the last two are also up for best new artist). Will Beyoncé finally win album and/or record, two trophies she doesn’t yet have in her case, despite being the winningest artist in Grammy history? Will Swift add a back-to-back Aoty to her collection (this would be her fifth!)? Or will Charli Xcx have everyone seeing lime green?...

Netflix has struck a creative partnership with multi-hyphenate Lena Dunham (Girls) and her production company Good Thing Going “to develop and create serialized first-look projects for Netflix.” The news comes as the creator is ready to return to the small screen with Netflix rom-com series Too Much this year, which she discussed during a Netflix event in London on Wednesday evening.
The show, on which Dunham functions as creator, writer, director and executive producer, marks her first scripted comedy series with Netflix and predates the newly unveiled partnership.
Before getting down to Netflix business at the London event, Scottish radio DJ and TV host Edith Bowman asked if due to the time she has spent in the U.K., Dunham could already be considered an honorary Brit. “I just got my five-year visa,” the creator shared, earning applause. “It did come with the damehood,” she then quipped.

90 Day Fiancé: Natalie Mordovtseva Hints At New Boyfriend After Confirming Split With Josh Weinstein
90 Day: The Last Resort star Natalie Mordovtseva is suggesting that she has replaced Josh Weinstein with a new boyfriend. Natalie and Josh currently star in the spin-off’s season 2, in which popular franchise couples are trying to save their relationships. Interestingly, all the other couples on The Last Resort are married, while Josh doesn’t even think of Natalie as his girlfriend. It’s because Natalie is still legally someone else’s wife. Not to mention, Natalie has anger and jealousy issues. That led to Natalie calling Sophie Sierra a “h**ker” and throwing her drink.
Natalie was upset that Josh had invited Sophie to Vegas without Natalie’s knowledge. She has now accused Sophie and Josh of having an affair.
Natalie had been married two times already before she met Mike Youngquist. After Mike, it was Natalie’s turn to date Josh, but he never wanted to marry her.

Episode #12 was Blue Lock season two's final episode before the finale, which combined episodes 13 and 14 into one hour-long special to close out the U-20 Arc. In episode #11, titled "What You Taught Us", two players, Shido Ryusei and Oliver Aiku, reached their "flow" states, hitting their full potential as players. Although Isagi has not yet reached this level, he inches closer to his goal of becoming the best striker every episode, making it impossible to ascertain which team will emerge victorious at the end of the match.
In episode #12, "Flowers," the scores between Blue Lock and Japan's team became tied again, and the next goal scored will decide the ultimate winner, putting both teams on guard.
