The Penguin has just hinted at the most likely storyline for The Batman Part II, which has huge potential consequences and makes perfect sense. With DCs The Batman, Matt Reeves introduced a gritty, noir-like version of Gotham City and its Dark Knight protector. The film's climax left Gotham City in chaos, with The Penguin picking up the narrative shortly afterward. As such, The Penguin has proffered the biggest hints at what might unfold in The Batman Part II, with the biggest hint coming from The Penguin episode 2.
The Penguin recommences the narrative after The Batman, after the Riddlers final plan results in a catastrophic flood. This destructive event created a fractured Gotham, setting the stage for further exploration of a city on the brink of collapse. A reference to a classic Batman storyline confirms the current state of Gotham post-The Batman but also provides a tantalizing glimpse into what could...

The Joker once had his own version of the Batcave: the Sanctum of Sanity, located in an old amusement park's Tunnel of Love. Harley Quinn found and renovated the hideout for the Joker in 1999's Batman: Harley Quinn #1, adding thematic clown decor and more to make it Joker's own. The Sanctum of Sanity was mainly used during the No Man's Land arc for gathering forces and torturing enemies, with it eventually being blown up for good.
The Batcave is one of the most iconic aspects of Batmans comic book lore, with the characters arch nemesis, the Joker, shacking up in his fair share of hideouts over the years in his never-ending quest to make Batmans life a living hell. Never staying in one place for too long, Joker once received his own version of the Batcave, complete with a name and location that fit the Jokers sadistic brand of villainy well.

Harley Quinn debuted in Batman: The Animated Series before her first non-canon comic appearance in The Batman Adventures #12. Harley's first canon comic appearance was in Batman: Harley Quinn #1, which established her origin story and relationship with Poison Ivy, Joker, Batman, and more, in main DC continuity. Harley has evolved from a Joker lackey to a more independent and heroic character, becoming a cross-medium star and fan favorite who's only getting more popular.
Harley Quinn is an iconic character whos had a roller coaster of a ride ever since she made her DC Universe debut in 1992, and has gone on to prove herself as an important part of DCs sprawling multiverse in the decades since. Yet for as popular as the character became, Harley's first comic appearance is far different from most, especially considering she didnt originate on the page, making her a unique addition to DC lore that other characters cant compare to.
