Not Bad, Not Good

The acting is decent as per the quality of the film. The idea of the story reminded me of 'About Time' where at 21 he is told a family secret. I don't know why I remembered that. That was a wonderful film and has nothing to do with this film.

The way people have been harsh to this film, I watched it with no interest while doing some other work. But this was a time pass film where there' s nothing new and nothing exciting yet it wasn't that boring. I wouldn't recommend this film if you want to watch a quality film or pass your time during a rainy day. Watch it when you have nothing else to watch.

This film is definitely better than those ekta kapoor sexual comedies or karan johar's depressing movies or those nadiawala or Roht Shetty's flying cars.

which add up to nothing

#Baabaaablacksheep is about the hero who suddenly discovers that his dad, who is a 'bheegee billee' at home, is actually a famous contract killer. He also discovers that his girlfriends dad is a fake art dealer. There r too many characters n too much confusion, which add up to nothing. Talented actors like #anupamkher, #annukapoor n #kaykaymenon r wasted because of a weak script. Music is bad. Rating 2/5.

interesting plot idea and characters

Reminds me of a hindi version of a Guy Ritchie film. It's an interesting plot about a father and son who belong to a family of contract killers. Had it been more of a dark comedy and less of a bollywoodish hindi movie, it would have worked better. Having said that, it's still a good one time watch with the family. Some of the songs are really nice. Really liked the cowboyish character of Kay Kay Menon. He's quite special. Anupam, Manish are good too, and Annu Kapoor is funnily outlandish (though sometimes over the top),. It was a chance watch for me, but a good one. Just the second half got a bit confusing with so many tracks...Maybe being the Director's first movie, he was trying too hard to prove that he can handle cross genres.

Catch this at your own risk!

Bollywood's spell with comedy appears to be extremely soaked now and again. This film is another case of every great story turning out badly when assembled. It doesn't fill in as either a decent comedy or as a decent romantic tale, despite the fact that Vishwas Pandya has attempted to include a lot of silliness, the greater part of which crashes and burns on its stomach.

Maniesh and Manjari make zero chemistry as an on-screen couple. Annu Kapoor and Anupam Kher are bombed by a pitifully sewn script. I nearly wished the film was without songs.

So Bad It's Good

In keeping with the film, my review is simple. From the acting to the plot and script, everything is cringe. Glorification of the criminals of old making one last hurrah against the odds

Worth a Watch for sure !

Just watched it on ZEE5 India. It's got a bunch of wonderful actors, who all perform quite well in their roles. its an unusual funny take on contract killers, a minister, a cop and a fake painting. The story and screenplay could have been better, but the director wants to walk a thin line between massy and subtle, I think. Anupam and Manish share a special bond as father and son, while Annu kapoor is eccentric in his role of an artist, and Kay Kay adds a western swag to his portrayal of an undercover policeman! Worth a Watch for them, for sure! Its 'time pass' as they say! A good attempt. Better than a lot of dark and nonsensical movies playing out there.

Loved It!

Are we all watching the same film? It's a great flick! Not to sure why people are so harsh towards this film but yes it did start-off a little slow but it really was entertaining and the acting is excellent. I'd highly recommend watching this, plenty of emotions, comedy and drama as you would expect and for sure it's easily a 8 stars from me.

Seriously funny

We just seen it and we had so many laughs. Great acting and the script was really well written. The ending had me by surprise though but it's still easily a 7 star film on here. Worth a watch if your looking for some quality entertainment with the family.

Worth watching

Storyline, acting and performance surely deserves a 8... Funny but not hilarious.... a good time pass... Better than any as usual bollywood movie where first half an hour gives away all the story... Nice plot and kept me throughout the movie. Keep it up.
