Brava Audrey Dana!

Una commedia piacevole, che consente di riflettere anche se con leggerezza

Differences

What makes a man a man and a woman a woman? Is the future going to look at this in disregard? As in the lines blur when it comes to gender? Things I cannot really say and don't want to guess. The movie is based on cliches and has quite a lot of them in them. It has funny scenes (like when our main female character is "exploring" self pleasure with her newly aquired ... additional body part) and quite a few of them do actually work.

It also seems to have been able to be over earlier than it actually does. I thought at one point "oh that must be it then" ... just to realize ... nope that wasn't it at all. The main character is charismatic enough to hold your attention and the movie itself though, so there's that

Some punctual criticisms for this little comic comedy...

A woman (Audrey Dana) wakes up with a penis. Who hasn't imagined what it would be like on the skin of the opposite sex, even if just for a day? Well... not Jeanne, newly divorced and separated from her children every two weeks. But one morning, her life is about to take such a funny turn that at first glance, nothing has changed... except for one thing!

Some punctual criticisms for this little comic comedy... The woman suffers because of the men and as a reward (punishment) she grows a dick, hey?!? From the middle to the end an unnecessary and misogynistic inversion of value, regular balance, could have reached a new aspect, despite having had its own revenge, reasonable, where masculinity hurts more, in his sexuality...

A great addition to an evening and a bottle of wine

Light optimistic comedy. Sometimes even deep analysis on man-woman roles in this world. And not vulgar at all. Happy end included.

From the title I expected a banal Hollywood teen comedy with under belt humour. After the trailer I decided to give it a chance. It's no easy job to play a middle aged woman with that little problem. And Audrey Dana made her work just great.

Can be highly recommended to relax after a hard day.

Silly but brilliant

Not going to sell this high...it's a pretty silly film. But also challenging to without trying to hard. It's an stereotypical movie about a French woman getting a penis and balls and understanding how some things come...literally...with the package.

The movie for me deserves a 10/10 because its undervalued in a culture were we are raised on only seeing one side of the gender role problematic. It's a much humanistic view of how the world is.
