Police dream team

Commander Lea Soler and Captain Paul Marchal work together in Montpellier police. But they are not only a good police team. They were once married and have teenagers son and daughter, mantaining a good companion relationship. Together with their subordinates leutenant Erwan, medical examiner Franck -who is always trying to date Lea-capitain Sabine, lieutenant Camille and other members of the police station they solve crimes. Interesting cases that do not contain disgusting scenes nor violence, the series benefit of an excellent cast and good sense of humor, including all crew members' relationship, main couple's and their childrens'. Many of the cases shown are related to French regional issues such as ancient castle financial maintenance problems, oysters' breeders or archeological researchers, adding a plus of interest. Recommended.

Fun distraction

It's not a particular taxing show. The plot lines are simple and easy to figure out. But, it's still a fun show that is not a problem for anyone.

Apparently there is a 150 character requirement for no reason. So I'm writing now to meet that requirementvv.

It's Candace but without all the extra baggage

Candace became tiresome after she moved to seaside house. Sleeping with every male in her office, jealousy arising with every superior, can't keep track of her 4 kids and dogs (see first reason listed), changing hair color and getting rid of all her pink stuff and trying to pass off as more "masculine. There was never any time for solving murders.

Here we see a similar plot: French divorce woman commandante, with two kids, and has her ex to boss around (same actor as in Candace). But that's it. The murders are solved by the very competent, likable, funny, secondary characters. Beautiful french scenery. U can't ask for more for easy going summer viewing.

Interesting and fun

I really like this show. I think some reviewers don't speak French and miss much of the humor since the subtitles don't always match what is said. I find the banter witty, not annoying. Of course, it is not realistic-but there are many French tv movies that have exes working together, and I think this one is superior. The setting, Montpellier and surrounding areas, is also a breath of fresh air. I'm very anxious always to watch the next episode.

Paul,grow a pair.

Paul, maddly in love with Lea, allows her to disdain, embarrass and diminish him in every episode. Paul, if you want her, go and get her or get the yourself out of the picture. You're acting like a sick puppy. I am into the fourth season and I'm so fed up with him I'm that I'm at the point that I'm ready to consign the series to the dust bin.

Premise makes no sense

No police force would allow a a formerly married couple to work in the same unit, much less have one supervise the other. Just dumb. Add 2 irritating kids and weak plots and you get a very mundane show.

Another annoying ex spouse cop show

Ex spouses with a snarky banter seem to be more prominent than the murder. Makes it really boring as the two main characters become increasingly unlikeable.

Candice Renior without Candice and Antoine

I'm having a difficult time watching this because many of the characters played rolls in Candice Renior. They had strong rolls and to see them change up and become a different character doesn't interest me. The other characters are boring! More annoying is a divorced couple working together on the same team. In real life, that does not happen. The ex-wife annoys me with her attitude. She's trying too hard to be a strong female supervisor and it's not that difficult when you are the BOSS, female or male. So far, the mystery cases aren't interesting and seem rather run of the mill. I can solve the mystery half way into the episode. I'll watch a little more, but will like pass on this series.
