Take notes on how to write stories, guys

Call me biased but somehow writers/directors for this love team know what they're up to.

I love the premise of the story, you can definitely feel the world building up to the present day. You'd feel bad for our protagonist Tenten for his humble start, until he meets this penpal of his. Years later he seemed to have a normal life and as fate dictated, the two penpals met.

I honestly haven't finished this series but I did reach the love triangle between Tenten, Serena and her childhood friend(played by Matteo). Where the three of them have to make choices for their family, lover, or themselves.

The rivalry was satisfactory, albeit cliché. You can feel the tension between the characters, and you'll even feel bad for (Matteo) here.

The dialogue was well-written, and the humor was well-timed and not overly cheesy. It's honestly difficult to pull that off, not gonna lie. Kudos to the director/writer. I will check up on their other works.

A good TV show

Dolce Amore is a good TV show with a notable cast. The story is compelling and most of the characters are truly deep and well construed. Great performances mainly from Liza Soberano (Serena), Enrique Gil (Ten Ten), Cherie Gil Eigenmann (Lucina Marchesa) and Ruben Maria Soriquez (Roberto Marchesa). The setting is mostly in the Philippines but some episode were actually shot in Italy, and you can see how fascinating the Italian setting is. I think most of the success of the series is due to the interesting blending of two cultures. I watched the whole show and what I felt is that a season 2 was well deserved by the fans, but sadly it never happened.
