Needless to say that I hadn't heard about this 2016 Vietnamese action comedy titled "Vê Si Sài Gòn" (aka "Saigon Bodyguards") before now in 2022, as I had the opportunity to sit down and watch it. And of course, with my interest in Asian cinema, of course I opted to watch it.

Writers Ken Ochiai and Michael Thai managed to put together a storyline that proved entertaining. It was a good combination of action and comedy. And if you enjoy the works of Jackie Chan, then you will probably also enjoy this 2016 movie from director Ken Ochiai, as it is very much akin to the movies that Jackie Chan usually makes.

The acting in the movie was good, and I do like watching Thai Hoa in movies. Actually, he is the only Vietnamese actor I am familiar with, so go figure. Then again, I am not well-traversed in the Vietnamese cinema. But I will say that all actors and actresses on the cast list here performed quite well.

I was genuinely entertained by this movie, and it is a well-worth watching.

My rating of "Vê Si Sài Gòn" lands on a six out of ten stars.

Just like most of comedy movie from Vietnam, this one featured new celebrities, comedy stars from another bad movie, poor script, awkward acting, bad camera work, unlaughable jokes,.. For a Movie that was invested 1 million dollar. This one surely disappoint a lot of Vietnamese audience. Don't waste your time on this movie.

When i searched on google to see how the movie is, i saw low rating on imdb but i decided to watch to see what reality is. so i watched the whole movie and then realised that this is so awesome and fuuny movie.you don't have to listen or see people's comments or rating just watch and then you will realise how awesome is this
