So far I've seen director Mike Diva's Mad Max short movie Roadkill BBQ, his creepy commercial for Halo Top ice cream, the music video for Kill the Noise Part 1, and this colourful comic-book-style short about a trio of female drug dealers called the Grrl Scouts who battle robot-policemen and the Illuminati - an eclectic mix if ever there was one. The one thing they all have in common is style and creativity (actually, that's two things). Grrl Scouts mixes live action with comic-style animation and CGI special effects to create a lively, fun-filled adventure (the fact that the three leads are all hot doesn't hurt either!).

I don't know what Diva's game plan is (will there be further exploits for the Grrl Scouts?), but I hope he continues to inject as much inventiveness and energy into whatever he does in the future.
