Jay & Silent Bob Reboot finally begins production very soon. Director Kevin Smith has been trying to bring back his most classic characters for another full-length movie for some time now. Smith has had some bumps along the way, most notably his serious heart attack last year that almost ended his life. But he's got a new lease on life these days and, after lots of talk, this movie is finally coming together.
Kevin Smith took to social media to reveal that Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will begin filming next week. The Clerks filmmaker mused about how he initially posted on Instagram about the movie just over two years ago and encouraged his followers not to give up. The post was shared with a familiar image of Silent Bob's not-so-smiley face pin. Here's what Smith had to say.
"I first posted about #JayAndSilentBobReboot on Instagram 2/9/17. It's been 2 years and 1 week since that post,...

Produced by Germany’s Gringo Films, “Stitch Head” will pitch at March’s Cartoon Movie in Bordeaux, a leading European event for animation coming down the pipeline. Fellow German studios Lavalabs and Studio Rakete co-produce.
“Stitch Head” will be a stereoscopic 3D animated feature directed by Toby Genkel, co-director –alongside Reza Memari– of the successful “A Stork’s Journey,” a German production from Ulysses Filmproduktion which secured a U.S. release through Grindstone and Lionsgate, and was sold by Global Screen.
“Stitch Head” is a family entertainment adventure-comedy intended for mainstream audiences. According to its producers, it’s a fun take on the Frankenstein myth, where the monsters are the good guys, and the humans are scary.
“It’s based on a simple premise: If a mad professor is obsessively bringing monstrous creatures to Almost-Life in his castle’s laboratory… then who takes care of the monsters? Who keeps them fed and clean?...

The cast of Jay & Silent Bob Reboot just got a whole lot more flashy, so to speak. Kevin Smith, as per usual, was on hand at San Diego Comic-Con to speak with fans in Hall H. During the course of his panel, the Clerks and Tusk director revealed that he's brought a trio of actors from The Flash TV series on board the cast for Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. That includes Grant Gustin, who plays Barry Allen/The Flash, Tom Cavanagh, who portrays Harrison Wells and Carlos Valdes, who plays Carlos Ramon on The CW series.
Kevin Smith didn't reveal any specific details about their casting at the present time. So we don't know who exactly any of The Flash gang will be playing in the upcoming entry in the View Askew universe. It also isn't totally clear how large their roles will be. Are these merely going to be glorified cameos?...
