Tensions have been frequently leaked from the production of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on the eve of its fourteenth season debut, and now People Magazine reports an exclusive from an insider claiming the traditional reunion show for the cast has been canned.
People, which has long had close connections to the show, quoted on Saturday their source saying: “A reunion is meant to have resolution and it’s clear in the season final that there is no path forward in that type of setting.
“So the network is figuring out a different concept to wrap up the season.”
If the reunion show doesn’t go ahead, it will be the first time in the show’s history. However, there has long been reported tension between the cast members, with BravoCon hosting split panels dividing them for the past two years.

Kandi Burruss is the hot topic this week after she dropped a shocker over the weekend and announced her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
While on the Grammy’s red carpet, Kandi said it was time to take a break after 14 seasons on the show. The 47-year-old joined the Atlanta franchise in Season 2, and she left ahead of Season 16.
That now puts two OGs in the top spot for longest-running Bravo Housewives.
If you haven’t guessed yet, we’re talking about The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Guidice, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards.
Say what you want about these controversial OGs, but whether you love them, or hate them, they have made their mark on their respective franchise.
The lives of both women have come full circle since we first met them years ago, and their exit would spell the end of an era.

The drama surrounding who called the FBI on The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Joe and Teresa Giudice continues, as the former is putting blame on Melissa and Joe Gorga for the whole ordeal. The speculation started up again recently when Teresa made the bold accusation during the Rhonj season 13 reunion that Melissa turned her and her then-husband in. The now-former couple was sent to prison--over three years for Joe Giudice and less than one year for Teresa--for tax and bank fraud, among other charges. They ended up serving their respective sentences at separate times so that one of the parents could always be with their children.
Teresa and Joe Giudice's prison sentences are well behind them now, but the drama surrounding how they got there hasn't ended. Following Teresa's recent comments at the Rhonj season 13 reunion, Joe Giudice echoed those claims while appearing on the Behind The Velvet Rope podcast.

Joe Giudice said goodbye to his wife Teresa and the couple's four daughters on March 23 to begin serving his 41-month sentence for fraud, but once he finishes his time at New Jersey's Federal Correction Institute, Fort Dix, Giudice may be forced to leave the country.
Since it was revealed that the Real Housewives star is not a citizen of the United States (he was born in Italy), he is facing possible deportation at the end of his jail term.
"I'm not even worried about that as far as that goes," he tells People. "That, we'll worry about when I get out.
