This is not meant to be an educational or "accurate" depiction of the story of Adam and Eve, this is an interpretation of the basic human emotions that we all go through when we are attempting to navigate our relationships with each other, nature, and God. I found it extremely approachable, inspired, and above all breath-takingly beautiful. The only reason I gave it a 9 was because there were a couple brief moments when the actor portraying Adam felt disingenuous. Easy to look past when viewing this piece as a whole. I highly recommend it.
If you want to cringe at bad acting and writing, this is the web series for you.
This video series is really truly awful, but its salvation is that it is mercifully short. There are 3 short episodes, of which about 1/4 to 1/2 seems to be title and exit. The series totals 24 minutes plus a Bonus Applesode: Adam fails to light Eve's fire. As you may know, A&E were living happily hippy, naked in the garden of Eden, eating a vegetarian diet and then chose forbidden fruit over eternal life in the garden paradise. The storyline picks up 20 minutes after A&E are banished from the garden and posits Eve was no longer "into Adam" (and presumably vice versa physically). So, she was already pregnant with Cain? Subsequently Adam must have "lit Eve's fire" for her to conceive Able, Seth, and two other sons and daughters. Thus the storyline is almost totally inconsistent with the historical story/myth. Even if they based this on two other characters, this series would be rreally truly awful. Zero (0) out of 10.
The actors playing Adam and Eve should do us all a favor and never act again. Whoever wrote this garbage should be ashamed of himself.
