Last year, we learned that, forty-nine years after playing a major role in the Steven Spielberg classic Jaws (and fourteen years after making an appearance in Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3D), Richard Dreyfuss had been cast in another film that promises to be packed with aquatic thrills, Vigilante Diaries director Christian Sesma’s Into the Deep. The film received a digital, On Demand, and limited theatrical release last Friday, and will be getting a DVD and Blu-ray release in the UK on February 3rd. To promote these releases, a clip from the film has dropped online and can be seen in the embed above. Dreyfuss got attacked while in a cage in Jaws, and this clip shows Into the Deep‘s version of a cage attack.

Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting’s throwback slasher We Might Hurt Each Other (formerly Pensive) is Now Streaming on our Screambox platform beginning today!

The bloody Lithuanian teen horror film was directed by Jonas Trukanas and stars Gabija Bargailaite (Pilgrims), and calls back to slasher classics like Friday the 13th.

In fact, this is Lithuania’s very first slasher movie!

Inspired by local legends, We Might Hurt Each Other follows a group of privileged high school classmates. After these classmates destroy a set of life-size wooden statues during a wild graduation party, a mysterious masked killer begins picking the group off one by one.

Alex Cord, an actor who portrayed the character codenamed Archangel in the military TV drama “Airwolf,” has died. He was 88.

Cord’s passing was confirmed to TheWrap by his publicist Linda McAlister, who said he died surrounded by friends in his home in Valley View, Texas, on Monday around 6:30 p.m. Ct.

Captain Marvel finally reveals how the McU version of Nick Fury lost his eye, a story long thought "classified."

While Captain Marvel is thoroughly committed to establishing Carol Danvers and her place in the McU, it’s also the closest thing to a Nick Fury origin story that Marvel Studios is ever likely to give us. Samuel L. Jackson is digitally de-aged to something roughly resembling his 1995 form to provide backup for Carol during her fish-out-of-water early moments back on Earth, and to serve as a suitably incredulous audience Pov character as someone who has yet to encounter a proper superhero, let alone one who is kind of from another planet.

Throughout the movie, we learn details about Fury’s origin. Most of it aligns quite closely with the Nick Fury of the comics.

Tagline: "Wanted Dead or Undead." High Moon was previously titled Howlers. Now, this time-shifting feature is slated to release this May, via Alliance Entertainment and Archstone Distribution. In the film, Colt is a werewolf slayer from the Old West. Rising from the grave in the future, Colt is determined to track down the werewolves who brutally murdered his wife in the past. As well, High Moon is from actor and director Josh Ridgway (The Sector). The film stars: Chad Michael Collins, Sean Patrick Flannery, Chelsea Edmundson and many more.
