One of best mythological Indian TV show made till now. Great acting by all the cast especially Gautam Rode, Saurabh panday(best). Powerful dialogues, beautiful sets. This show is not only for entertainment but a lot of things about life we learn from it especially when shri Krishna (Saurabh panday) starts each episode with life lessons....

Lord Krishna played by Saurav pandey is good, Karna definitely deserved his part of tv show which finally he got. There are hell lot of editing mistakes which i didnt like... All the Characters played their part really well. At first, for some reason I didnt liked the cast but eventually they all made me convinced with their acting. Some messages are good and easily understandable. After watching Saurabh raj jain's Mahabharat i never thought someone could ever come to match this level of expectations but certainly Suryaputra Karn did well in terms of matching expectations. Background music , sound score amplify the mood and help conveying the message in subtle way. Dialogue are good, screenplay is good but yeah there are scope for the better!!

Very nice acting by Gautam Rode. Emotional serial. Nice music. Nice hymn songs in this. Strong performance by all. One of the best devotional serial made in post 2000 era

Karna in Mahabharata is one of the greatest warrior as we know and he finally got the TV series he deserve....Acting by Gautam rode(karna) was one of the major highlight of the show he displayed all the emotions of the most complex character of Mahabharata with ease.This series shows the life journey of Mahabharata from a sut putra to king of anga fighting against caste system trying to bring change in society, dedicating his life for sake of friendship.... This TV series shows greatness of suryaputra Karn best archer and warrior of Mahabharata...if u love karna and adore him u should definitely see this epic.....Like other TV series this series too has some flaws and some stories r manipulated but no on knows the reality.....But to know about Karn greatest warrior of Mahabharata u should definitely watch this....Two actors Karn(Gautam rode) and Krishna(Saurabh pandey) terrific performance by these guys 10/10 marvellous

I can't leave this serial ....its so addictive. My exams are coming...but when it gets over...I will definitely continue watching.... Not watched since 2 weeks my exam began.... I can't live without it.

I think Suryaputra Karn is better tv series than new Mahabharata. You can see the actual character and power of Karn in this tv series and Gautam Rode justify the character of Karn very well.

We all know that Karna was one of the greatest warrior of Mahabharat era.So,there should be a show on him.And yes here it is.The only fact is that there plenty of mistakes in this show.But despite of this mistakes Gautam Rode acted very well on the role of Karna.For Krishna I am a very big fan of Saurav Raj Jain but he was not there.But still Saurav Pandey did very well on this role!So I will tell this show an average because of the mistakes but will tell it great to show some respect to the greatest warrior Karna!

Yes its depicted false.

But then when Mahabharata happened, how many of them so called reviewer were present. That society had a lot of flaws. And this serial depicts everything.

People here arguing on religion let me put it straight to you. Mahabharata was not written to make Arjun a legend or a praiseworthy book of his deeds. It was written to identify our mistakes present in the society and how flawed our society is. Being a Hindu, its unacceptable to me that someone's merit should be judged by his birth. "A person's merit is judged by his actions not by his birth." Karna symbolised that spirit. I find some good-for-nothing daddy's little Prince and Princess coming here and commenting on how Karna was shown as a false depiction. Where were you guys when Arjuna was depicted in false fiction in 90% shows? Arjuna never was the greatest war and Mahabharata was never his battle. It was a war that happened for 3 people and their foolishness. 1. DHRITARASHTRA 2. BHEESMA PITAMAH 3. KARNA and it shows how two people who can do trickery can force a Civil war in Kingdom. One Krishna and other Shakuni.

Instead of arguing like fools here, I suggest to crybaby Arjun fans to go and read it again and ponder why it was written. So that the next generation learns from it and creates a society based more on workright rather than birth right. Surya Putra Karna actually shows many things which had happened. Something which was skipped by all other Mahabharata. And Karna is only shown as a character so that even though a person may support an evil side, there can still be goodness and greatness in him. Remember it's always the victors who write the history . And who knows what happened in the battlefield.

Karana never refused to stand up for what he believed in - Dharma. And the most important of all - he never stopped giving. He gave away his most valuable at a request, even though he knew how cruel fate was.

This is the series that tell how much struggle Karna had took place. He was really a great warrior. No one warrior is as brave as karna. He had the great courage, importance of every people. He fight for the dignity of the people.

The best show, i have ever seen.All the characters are too good and their acting is petfect.I always want a show which is based on Karn's life and Mahabharata from the Karna point of view.

Surya putra karn was a great show. It shows some details. Some scenes Where even karna is not present like barbarik & death of pandavas details

Just saw couple of episodes on youtube and such a poor directed tv series. Mixing your own stories, caricature actors and plastic acting. Such a insult to the original BR Chopra Mahabharat Karn. Thank god this series has finished otherwise the director would have added some masala and saas-bahu drama also in this.

Greatest warrior archer and all weapon weilders and supreme in every skill

Seeing only from the point of series, Karna is Glorified to that Level that he is shown everywhere, during any Big Specific Event in Mythological History which distorts every sense of Mahabharata. His Relation with Krishna is not that big in the Mythological History but in this Series they are like Everywhere. Facts and this Series Doesn't go with each other. One of the Worst Parts being the Ending where the Pandavas go to hell but Karna does not just for their Minor Insults but Karna Still is the Hero even after he didn't have second thoughts in Killing Abhimanyu (Arhun's Kid) by a Whole Competent Warriors.

IT WAS A PERFECT SOURCE OF ENTERTAINMENT AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT OUR PAST HISTORY. IT SHOWED THE PERFECT THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN OUR PAST. AND AT THE LAST THE BEST ACTING IN A TV SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN. I MEAN IT'S AWSOME. WONDERFUL WORK BY THE CASTING TEAM AND THE DIRECTING TEAM. IT IS A MUST WATCH SHOW.

Suryaputra Karna is the best TV show of all time. Everything shows in the serial are genuine. This show is much better than star plus and BR chopra Mahabharata. Thank you sony team for bring this. I'm very glad to see this. I suggest everyone to enjoy this show. It would be very shameful moment that some rascals abusing this show because their mind are diverted by seeing fake mahabharat. I request to all karna haters that if you didn't respect Karna then please don't abusing karna. Don't forget he is the student of Guru Parsuram. No doubt, Arjun was one of the greatest archer of all time but he is arrogant and jealous of his competitors. But karna's master is the master of arjun's master.

It's a well deserved 10/10 tv series. The best portrayal of the philanthropist and fierce warrior karna from mahabharata. I recommend everyone reading this comment to watch this show as a must. Won't regret even a minute. A hearttouching and inspirational series indeed!!!! It's a really good show for kids and parents alike, the show hasn't got enough appreciation for what it is but I am sure when the right people see and promote it, it can reach great heights. I hope this comment reaches every mahabharata fan out there and hope they get to experience this. Really good job cast and crew, a job well done.

Though the directors have taken a few creative liberties, it is still an amazing TV show. The actors who played the roles of Karna, Duryodhana, Jarasandha, Shri Krishna and Shri Parshuram have done a superb job. The emotional scenes are really good, and the friendship of Karna and Duryodhana is the best part of this show. The only flaw is that they have whitewashed Karna too much. Karn is more of an anti hero in Mahabharat. The incidents which were not shown in earlier Mahabharat serials like Karna defeating Jarasandha, Barbareek, Destruction of Dwarka etc. have been shown. You can surely watch this superb show, but there are two major distortions: 1.Karna called Draupadi names in the dyut sabha, but in this show they have shown that he said this on the insistance of his friend 2.Karna's role in the death of abhimanyu has been whitewashed 3.Ashwatthama has been shown as a very weak warrior 4. Kripacharya's character has been omitted
