For Our Sins Tells Moral Lessons of Love

The wars in the world today seem so surreal from a first world country. For Our Sins takes you behind the lines and into the heart of one family that has become a casualty to the unrest. The cast is strong, beautiful footage and great sound.

My only concern was that the American Solider actor in the film could not carry his role against the strength against the other character actors.

Regardless, as an overall film and first effort this is an above average film with an actual message that transcends the medium it has been recorded on.

    More than I expected!

This film was much more than I expected! I was completely glued to the screen the whole time. I followed every scene, inspecting it, yearning for more, waiting for resolution. The overall production was 1st rate. The cinematography was fresh and its focus drew me into the film. The score was absolutely beautiful; I actually wept during the final scene when the music came in, it just grabbed me. It was as if the composer grabbed the soul of the scene and transformed it into a sublime collection of sound! The acting was superb. The twists in the script were subtle and shocking. I wont give it away but you MUST see this film. The makers of this film were clearly not afraid of examining a subject matter that is basically taboo in this day and age. I applaud them for their bravery, and their ability to show a picture of the world we do not usually see. In the end what is important remains important.
