Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge’s Decision: Brooke vs. Taylor
With that in mind, on Wednesday, March 26th, we’ve got Ridge making his decision. Brooke was pressing on him to ditch Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and come home to her. She sees that, you know, she thinks that Ridge was just in a phase because he was all salty about the coup. Brooke put her hands on him, and she kissed him.
She just basically told Ridge, like she always does, quit fooling around, it’s time to come home. Just assuming he’s going to do what she wants. My money is personally on Taylor just because Ridge is very upset about Brooke taking his job. And...

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Dr. Finnegan recently took a page out of his mother’s book when he administered his own personal DNA test. He needed to know if he was Luna’s father. He needed to know if Poppy had kept the truth from him for all of these years. Unsurprisingly, she has. Finn is Luna’s biological father, and now he has to live life knowing that the psychotic Sheila is his mother and the disturbed Luna is his daughter.
Where Does Finn Go From Here?
Yes, Finn (Tanner Novlan) has a grown daughter, and she is someone he has known for her entire life. It all stemmed from his connection with Poppy (Romy Park) when he was just starting college. The two shared one night all those years ago. And despite Poppy, apparently, assuring him that he wasn’t the father, she lied to him.

There was a time when Hope and Steffy were polar opposites. Hope was once seen as the moral compass of The Bold and the Beautiful. Looking back, it’s like seeing a different woman. Meanwhile, Steffy was the sexy woman who had all the men falling in love with her.
Over the past year, Hope has turned into a seductress, while Steffy is a happily married woman. Recently, Hope did something that not even Steffy has ever attempted.
The Perfect Wingwoman
Unlike Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Hope (Annika Noelle) became the perfect wingwoman for her mother. During Thursday’s episode of B&b, Hope told Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she deserves someone better. She wants better for her mom because she’s been through something similar.

A couple of Bold and the Beautiful veterans went up against two of the newbies as November rocked Forrester Creations to the core.
November 2024 Performer of the Month
The current status of Forrester Creations is…shaky. That’s because, in November, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) unleashed a plan to take over the family business that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) run together. This is Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) baby, and with a few signatures, Hope and Carter are poised to run the entire thing and turn the fashion house into a global luxury brand.

Netflix is rapidly expanding its Korean unscripted TV content slate. It will launch ten shows this year, more than double the number from 2022. They range from romance to cooking and comedy.
Yoo Hi-kwan director of content at Netflix Korea, says quantity was not the goal. “It’s important to be loved locally first before we can win over global audiences. Each show has its own unique appeal that matches what they want,” he said.
The new slate kicks off with “The Influencer,” debuting on Aug. 6, followed by “A-List to Playlist,” chronicling actor Cho Jung-seok’s journey to debut as a singer.
“The Influencer” is a social survival competition show where 77 of South Korea’s top influencers compete to determine who holds the greatest sway. Produced by Kakao Entertainment, it includes prominent figures like Jang Keun-suk, Risabae, PaniBottle, Jin Yong-jin, Shim Eu-ddeum, and DaeDo.

The leading ladies of “The Bold and the Beautiful” are not to be trifled with. The CBS soap is the youngest currently on the air (it debuted in 1987), but it has more Daytime Emmy wins for Best Actress than any other show currently on the air. That’s even more remarkable since it didn’t win its first Best Actress trophy until 2000. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is one of the show’s past winners for playing Steffy Forrester. Can she continue that tradition with another win this year?
The most awarded soap in the history of Best Actress is “One Life to Live” with 11 total victories, thanks in large part to the record six wins for Erika Slezak. That show went off the air in 2012 and had a short-lived online revival in 2013 before ending for good. “B&b” is next in line with seven wins, all of them since 2000, which means the...

Courtney Hope is departing Los Angeles for Genoa City. The former star of “The Bold and the Beautiful” posted a photo of herself on Instagram on August 20 wearing “The Young and the Restless” apparel with the caption, “This seems like a good fit.” Daytime Confidential subsequently confirmed that the actress is making the move from one soap to the other.

Heather Tom has earned yet another Daytime Emmy nomination for Best Actress for playing Katie Logan on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Her career has now entered its fourth decade spanning three different soap operas, and for the last several years she has been on the verge of history. One more victory would tie her with Erika Slezak as the most awarded actress ever at the Daytime Emmys. But that milestone win has proven elusive.
Tom broke through in daytime on “The Young and the Restless” as corporate heiress Victoria Newman. She joined that show in 1990 when she was just a teenager and played the role for 13 years. Along the way she earned nine Emmy nominations, winning Best Younger Actress twice.

Thorsten Kaye earned a Best Actor nomination at the 2020 Daytime Emmys for playing Ridge Forrester on CBS’s soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful.” It’s his first nomination for this role, which he took over from longtime star Ronn Moss in 2013, but it’s actually his fifth Best Actor bid overall, which makes it a historic milestone for the actor. No one else in Daytime Emmy history has earned Best Actor noms for three different shows.

The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards announced their nominations during “The Talk” on Thursday, May 21, and “General Hospital” leads the way with 23 bids including Best Drama Series. It has won that top prize 13 times, more than any other show, so can it extend that record? Check out the list of nominations here.
Leading the nominations tally doesn’t necessarily make “Gh” the automatic front-runner, especially when its rivals are so close. “Days of Our Lives” has 22 nominations, and “The Young and the Restless” has 21. “Y&r” is actually the defending champion for the top award, while “Days” won it the year before that in 2018. “Gh’s” last victory was in 2017.

Hollywood recently lost the great comedian Fred Willard, who died on May 15 at age 86. He was loved for his comedic work in the films of Christopher Guest and on shows like “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Modern Family” and the upcoming “Space Force.” But the one Emmy he received during his life was actually for a drama — the daytime drama “The Bold and the Beautiful” to be exact. Take a look back at his backstage interview with Michael Fairman above.

Willard won Best Special Guest Performer at the 2015 Daytime Emmys for appearing in a few episodes of “B&b” as John Forrester, the brother of the show’s patriarch Eric (John McCook). CBS soaps “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” will be running out of new episodes this Thursday. But fear not, fans. The network has a fun plan in place to keep your favorite daytime divas and divos in your living rooms with “memorable themed weeks” starting Monday, April 27.
“Y&r” has perused its 47 seasons and pulled vintage weeks from days gone by, starting with a week in the life of Genoa City’s iconic Katherine Chancellor (played by the late Jeanne Cooper).
These “Katherine the Great” episodes, as CBS is calling them, will date back as far as 1990, and have the iconic character of Katherine Chancellor mixing it up with the likes of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and more.

Let’s get the not-so-great news out of the way first: The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful will air their last original, pre Covid-19 shutdown episodes this week — Thursday, April, 23, specifically. As we previously reported, the CBS sudsers were slightly more than a month ahead when work on both shows came to an abrupt, unprecedented halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The better news — particularly for soap nostalgia buffs — is how CBS plans to fill the 90-minute daytime void. TVLine has learned that beginning Monday, April 27, the network will dip into Y&r and B...

Sand isn’t the only thing running through the hourglass during these scary days of our lives. Network soap operas shot before the coronavirus forced all Hollywood productions to shut down last month will soon run out of original episodes — and are scrambling for contingency plans.
This month, ABC’s “General Hospital” and CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” began airing repeat or “classic” episodes on Friday, a move intended to slow down the speeding train when they run out of original episodes. And “General Hospital” is now interweaving flashbacks into new episodes to stretch out its stockpile of already-shot material, while also giving lapsed viewers a chance to catch up on current story lines.
According to soap production insiders, the completed episodes could run out as soon as mid to late May. The two CBS shows are in the planning stages of the...
