Last year, Charles Band’s company Full Moon announced that they were launching a new production label called Pulp Noir, which would focus on “edgier, weirder, darker horror and dark fantasy films.” Two Pulp Noir movies, Quadrant and Death Streamer, have since made their way through production – and while those movies were initially released in color, all of the Pulp Noir movies will also get black & white “noir” releases, so there are both color and black & white versions of Quadrant and Death Streamer available on the Full Moon Features streaming service. While we wait for more Pulp Noir movies to be made, Band has started going through the Full Moon library to give some of their older films the black & white / noir treatment. Last month, a “noir” version of the 1984 sci-fi thriller Christmas classic Trancers was released through Full Moon Features and YouTube, as was a black & white version of the 1997 creature feature The Creeps.

David Schmoeller's 1989 film "Puppet Master" was almost going to be a theatrical release in the summer of 1989, but pivoted to the VHS market at the last minute. Looking at the 1989 supper movie season, one can see why producer Charles Band made the decision. "Puppet Master" would have opened against "Batman," "Ghostbusters II," "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," "Back to the Future Part II," "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier," "License to Kill," and "Lethal Weapon 2." There were just too many blockbusters it would've had to compete with.
Its movement to the straight-to-video market might have reduced its prestige, but "Puppet Master" spawned many, many sequels (not to mention a few crossovers) that persist to this day (the most recent "Puppet Master" film was released in 2022). The killer puppets in the film have become minor horror icons and often serve as the face of Full Moon Features, a...

Bloodthirst is from the folks at Mahal Empire, last year they gave us their version of the zombie apocalypse, Bridge of the Doomed. This year they’re revisiting the apocalypse, only in Bloodthirst the threat comes from a different strain of the undead, vampires. Interestingly, both films were directed by Michael Su and written by Adrian Milnes this time with a story credit to Massimiliano Cerchi
In the world of Bloodthirst two factions of vampires fight for control of what’s left of the planet. What’s left of humanity is caught in the middle and rapidly heading for extinction, something that would doom the vampires as well. John Shepard walks that world as a vampire hunter who’s on the trail of The Master Vampire.

I have been a fan of Charles Band‘s company Full Moon since I was a kid, and the Puppet Master franchise ranks as one of my favorites – but I can’t say I have ever looked at the puppet characters in these films and wondered what it would be like if their looks were transformed into a shoe. But that’s exactly what the folks at the shoe company Bull Airs have been thinking. They have announced that a shoe inspired by the look of iconic puppet Blade will be going on sale at noon (Eastern time) on Friday, October 6th!
The Blade shoe will have a limited run of 250 and will sell for the price of $350.
Sizes: Mens US 4-15
Youth Sizes: Youth 1-3
Comes in Puppet Master-themed Collector’s Box, hand numbered. A select number will be signed by Charles Band.

The collectible makers at Neca have created action figures inspired by several of the awesome little characters from Full Moon’s Puppet Master franchise. Their line-up includes Blade, Torch, Pinhead, and Tunneler… and in December, they’ll be releasing 7″ scale action figures based on the puppet characters Six-Shooter and Jester. An image of Neca’s Six-Shooter and Jester action figures can be seen at the bottom of this article, and more can be found on the Neca website.
The Jester puppet has been part of the Puppet Master franchise ever since the very first movie was released back in 1989. Six-Shooter entered the picture with Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge in 1991 and quickly became one of the most popular puppets in the series. Unfortunately, he’s also one of the most difficult puppets to bring to the screen, due to the fact that he has six arms to move...

Full Moon Features has unveiled the first full length trailer for Blade: The Iron Cross. The long-awaited movie picks up directly after the events of Puppet Master: Axis Termination and it looks crazy. For decades, horror fans have asked for a solo movie focused on the hook-handed maniac puppet, Blade, and now Full Moon has delivered the goods with the first standalone feature debut for one of its most beloved characters. This first look at the movie is definitely not for the faint of heart.
Charles Band's Puppet Master series continues as an unspeakable evil from Blade's past emerges in the form of a murderous Nazi scientist named Dr. Hauser. As Hauser's heinous crimes are discovered, the psychic war journalist, Elisa Ivanov, awakens Blade, and together the bloody journey of revenge begins. It's Herr Hauser's reanimated undead army versus a possessed doll and a beautiful vengeance-seeking clairvoyant. Who will win,...

The first trailer for Blade: The Iron Cross is here. This is the latest from Full Moon Features, the iconic horror studio behind the Puppet Master franchise. Now, after several decades and many sequels, Full Moon is bringing the first standalone feature for one of its most beloved characters: the hook-handed maniac puppet, Blade. As we can see in the trailer, Blade's solo feature debut is going to be a bloody, wild ride filled with Nazis, undead foes and plenty of blood.
The trailer kicks off by showing us a mad scientist explaining his grand, evil plan. A sophisticated ray of sorts that he's concocted will allow him to revive the dead, providing him with a zombie-like army. We see a young woman who comes into possession of the Blade puppet and decides to bring him to life. We don't see much of Blade doing any actual killing, but we...

A reboot of the now almost three decade-old Puppet Master franchise – a series which totals a mammoth 12 films at last count – The Littlest Reich will undoubtedly pique the interest of those outside of the original fanbase due to the pedigree of writing talent attached. It’s from the mind of one S. Craig Zahler, responsible for the double whammy of Brawl in Cell Block 99 and Bone Tomahawk (both if which he helmed and wrote). Zahler’s particular brand of witty wordplay, jet black humour and wincingly Ott gore is evident throughout The Littlest Reich. The film has been shepherded to the screen by the production arm of the recently resurrected Fangora brand, and like Blumhouse, there’s been real care here to ensure that horror aficionados haven’t been short-changed by an empty cash-grab exercise.

Thomas Lennon has had himself quite the varied career. Dating back to his MTV sketch comedy series The State, to his days as officer Jim Dangle on Reno 911! and his many various movie roles over the years, he's kept very busy for the last two and half decades. Sometimes his movie roles are small, but in massive projects, such as his brief turn in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. Other times, he gets to be the star of the show in a smaller but compelling movie. Such is the case with his latest work, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich.
Puppet Master is an enduring franchise that got its start back in 1989 and, eleven sequels later, the thing was still going as of 2017 with Puppet Master: Axis Termination. Up to that point, the franchise had never been rebooted, which is pretty amazing for a horror franchise that had been running that long.

The Puppetmaster franchise has, quite arguably, never been more alive. So much so that there will now be two different version of the franchise coexisting at the same time. Producer Charles Band reveals that the recently released reboot, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, and the original series of Puppet Master movies, will both continue and will exist independently from one another.
Charles Band has been producing the long-running horror franchise since the very beginning when the first movie was released in 1989. The most recent movie in that continuity, Puppet Master: Axis Termination, was released just last year and capped off the Axis trilogy. Then came this year's The Littlest Reich, which just debuted in select theaters and on VOD and serves as the first reboot in the history of the series. That left some questions as to the fate of the continuity in the original movies, which Band cleared up in a recent interview.

Even if you’re not a huge fan of horror films, you may remember 1989’s “Puppet Master.” You may remember walking down the New Release aisle of your local video store (Rip) and seeing a blue box with malicious, weapon-toting puppets on the cover. What you may not realize is that the film — essentially the foundation of Charles Band’s Full Moon Features empire of low-budget, straight-to-video horror, sci-fi, and fantasy — has spawned 11 sequels, the last of which (“Puppet Master: Axis Termination”) was just released last year.

The Puppet Master franchise is returning to theaters this summer. Rlje Films has acquired the rights the upcoming reboot, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich. The movie is billed as a "reimagining" but will serve as a reboot of the franchise and, instead of heading straight to the world of VOD or the bargain bin at Walmart, this one is heading to a theater near you in August. Rlje Films' Chief Acquisitions Officer Mark Ward had this to say.
"We are incredibly excited to be able to bring the first film under the new Fangoria brand to audiences this summer. With an amazing script from S. Craig Zahler and performances from horror legends Barbara Crampton and Udo Kier, we know Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich will thrill fans of the original films and new audiences alike."

The Puppet Master horror film franchise has had a long run! Today we have the trailer for the 11th film in the franchise, Puppet Master: Axis Termination, and depending on how you feel about the franchise, this new movie could look good or it could look like a piece of trash.
I actually enjoyed watching the first few movies in the franchise. They were kinda fun, but I stopped watching after Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge. It's not that I didn't like watching the films because I did. I enjoyed the campiness of them. I just stopped keeping up with them and now they are up to eleven movies! There's obviously a market for these films.
Puppet Master: Axis Termination looks exactly like what I would expect from the film. Here's the synopsis:

The trailer for Puppet Master: Axis Termination is here, the eleventh movie in the Puppet Master franchise, as well as the third and final in the Axis trilogy. Since its inception in 1989, the Puppet Master series has been one of my go-to horror series. With classic characters like Blade, Jester, Pinhead, Tunneler and Leech Woman the Full Moon franchise was a staple of my video-store youth and a staple of my home cinema collection today. And now the series is returning for yet another installment – the 11th – once again directed by Charles Band, Puppet Master: Axis Termination.<
Set in Berlin during World War II, Puppet Master: Axis Termination continues the Axis Trilogy, which began with Puppet Master: Axis of Evil and Puppet Master: Axis Rising. – all of which are set in the same time period as David DeCoteau’s classic Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge.
With Band currently running a crowdfunding campaign for Puppet Master: Axis Termination , the Full Moon founder has released some fantastic new promo artwork. Check it out below:...
