Apparitions was written and shot especially for the Warner Bros. Movie World Reel Horror film competition for their annual Fright Night season. The film was shot three weeks before the film was due to be entered. Post production (which included numerous digital effects shots) was completed 2 days before the deadline. It won first prize.
